Gerard O’Flaherty, Product & IT Manager,
Fexco Corporate Payments 

Gerard O’Flaherty is the CIO at Fexco Corporate Payments, a division of the Fexco Group, who provide specialist payment processing services to enable clients to issue payments quickly, accurately, securely and cost-effectively.

Leading a dynamic IT team in the FinTech industry, he has embarked on a number of large projects in Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand over the years working with all the major banks and payment providers. These projects have delivered a wide range of payment products to a vast range of customers.


Tony O’Halloran, Director of IT,
Dole plc

Tony O’Halloran is a Global Group IT Director for Dole plc, the world’s largest global Fresh Produce Company who are headquartered in Dublin.

O’Halloran has responsibility for the oversight of Global IT Operations with a particular emphasis on Digital Transformation and has over 3 decades of experience working in the IT sector for multinational companies operating in the IT, Financial Services and Fresh Produce sectors.


Tom O’Leary, Chief Information Officer,
ICON plc

Tom O’Leary is ICON’s Chief Information Officer and has over twenty five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. O’leary joined ICON in 2001 as Manager of Data Management and has held various leadership positions including, Global Head of Data Management and President of ICON Central Laboratories.

Prior to joining ICON, he worked for SmithKline Beecham and later GlaxoSmithKline and held positions in Data Management, Project Management and Resource Management. O’Leary holds a Degree in Medicinal Chemistry and a Masters in Data Management from Kingston University in Surrey and is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.


Cian Ó Cuinneagáin, Chief Product Officer,
Cubic Telecom

Cian Ó Cuinneagáin is Chief Product Officer at Cubic Telecom. A senior leader with diverse international experience in capital markets, eCommerce, airlines and start-ups, Ó Cuinneagáin has a proven track record of strategizing, architecting and delivering innovative, large-scale technology products while driving successful commercial scale and growth.

His extensive experience leading large, growth-focused teams across product, engineering, design, client-facing operations and sales activities has allowed him to drive customer value, innovative capability and technological advances. He is a Dublin City University Science graduate.


John Power, Director of IT,
National Broadband Ireland

John Power is a Senior Information Technologist with a proven track record of delivering value, revenue and transformational change at leadership level. Power has extensive experience in providing clear vision and strategy and has a track record in the end-to-end delivery of software solutions across organisations including Vodafone (Middle East/Africa), T-Mobile (Europe/USA), Hutchison Whampoa/3/Three (Worldwide) and Inmarsat. Within Ireland, he has held positions with Enet and now National Broadband Ireland (NBI).

His current NBI responsibilities include, overseeing the entire information technology real estate, specifically the BSS/OSS, ERP, PPM (Project Portfolio Mgt), Analytics, ICT and IT Operations, maintaining them according to established goals, standards and contractual requirements, as well as having full responsibility for the alignment of IT strategies to business strategies and desired outcomes.


Peter Quinn, Chief Information Officer,
DCC plc

Peter Quinn has been Chief Information Officer since he joined DCC in 2004. He also spent three years as Chief Operating Officer of DCC’s largest oil distribution business, Certas Energy UK.

Prior to joining DCC, he worked as an IT consultant with an international firm where he specialised in the delivery of complex IT solutions across a range of business sectors. He had previously worked in the food and transport industries in a variety of IT leadership roles.


Katrina R. Redmond, SVP & Chief Information Officer
Eaton Group 

Katrina R. Redmond is SVP & Chief Information Officer for Eaton, a global power management company. In this role, she is responsible for the enterprise information technology strategy and execution.

Redmond joined Eaton in 2021. Prior to Eaton, she worked for Hubbell, where she served as vice president and CIO. Throughout her career, she has guided digital transformations and global e-commerce solutions and delivered global enterprise system implementations.

Redmond has held IT leadership roles at ABB, GE Grid Solutions, GE Industrial Solutions and GE Plastics. she received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from the University of Georgia. She later received a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from the Southern Polytechnic State University. Redmond has served on the GE Women in Technology Board and received a CIO 100 Award in 2013.


Stephen Reidy, Chief Information Officer,
Three Ireland

Stephen Reidy is CIO at Three Ireland, which he joined in July 2014. He was previously Head of Strategy & Consulting at O2 Ireland for three years before it was acquired by Three’s parent company and worked in several senior roles at UK telecoms provider Orange between 2002 and 2011 in IT and programme management. He is a UL Electronics graduate.


Nick Rodway, Chief Technology Officer,
Aerogen

Nick Rodway has been the Chief Technology Officer at Aerogen since January 2019. He is a highly experienced and delivery focused technology and change leader with an outstanding track record of delivery success throughout twenty five years in senior leadership positions in financial services companies spanning the wealth management, asset management, banking, trading, software and consulting sectors.


Gerry Rogers, Director of IT Services,
An Post

Gerry Rogers is a senior business technology leader with over twenty years in the IT industry. He is currently the Director of IT Services at An Post and manages operational systems and teams, including adopting technologies to support the delivery of strategic business change programmes.

Before joining An Post, Rogers worked in various executive roles in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors globally and in Ireland. He holds a Bsc in Digital Security and Forensics ITB and MSc in Digital Innovation from Smurfit UCD.


Mark Ryan, Head of IT,
CityJet

Mark Ryan began working at CityJet in 2022. He joined the firm as IT Manager and rapidly progressed into the role of Head of IT.

His expertise include managing staff, Desktop Support, Customer Support, Business Applications, Computer Architecture, Active Directory, networks and databases.

He previously worked at Ivor Fitzpatrick and Company Solicitors as IT Manager and KN Circet where he began working as Operations Support Manager and later became IT Delivery Manager.


Michael Ryan, IT Projects Director,
Sisk

Michael Ryan has been IT Projects Director at Sisk Group since 2020, and initially was Head of Group IT Projects after joining Sisk Group in 2019. Previously, he was a Senior Independent Advisor to Musgrave Group IT.

Before that, Ryan worked for more than thirty years in IBM across several senior leadership roles both in Ireland and internationally, where the final role he held was as Global Technology Services Leader in Ireland, which was IBM Ireland’s largest business unit.

He is an energetic and decisive senior executive with a sustained track record of delivering business outcomes through focused execution of business transformation programmes.


Bob Savage, VP Regional CIO for EMEA & Cork Site Leader,
Dell Technologies

Bob Savage has worked for Dell Technologies for thirty four years and started with the Company in 1988 as a product engineer. Over the last three decades, he has held many different leadership roles in Dell Technologies including: Manufacturing, Engineering, Services and IT and has been responsible for teams in Ireland, India, Egypt and the US.

He is a chartered Engineer and a fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineers. Savage is the former Chairman of Cork Institute of Technology and previously held the role of inaugural Chair of Munster Technological University. He was a board member of The American Chamber of Commerce Ireland from 2013 to 2019 and took on the role of president throughout 2016.


Richard Schouten, Group VP Information Systems,
Smurfit Kappa

Richard Shouten was appointed Group VP Information Systems of Smurfit Kappa in August 2017. Schouten joined the Company as Information Security Manager in 2004. Since then, he has covered a number of managerial positions of increased responsibility until he was appointed Director IT for Group IS in 2015.

He holds Master Degrees in Electrical Engineering and in Business Administration and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor.


Alison Sergeant, SVP Head of IT Services, Infrastructure & Operations,
RenaissanceRe

Alison Sergeant is an active champion for diversity of all kinds in IT. She possesses a deep technical background coupled with extensive delivery and management skills gained over her thirty five-year career.

Currently SVP Group SVP Head of IT Services — Infrastructure and Operations at RenaissanceRe, Sergeant believes the key to successful delivery is to understand requirements, needs, people and business goals in depth from many different perspectives, and that encouraging and developing diversity in the IT world is an important step in that process.


Shane Slattery, Chief Information Officer,
Dawn Meats

Shane Slattery worked internationally with KPMG for several years designing systems and process changes for their blue chip clients including Ray Ban Sunglasses, Heineken and Nalco Chemical Company (now Ecollab). He has almost twenty five years’ experience as CIO of Dawn Meats Group which is one of Ireland’s largest food producers.

The company operates in twelve countries, exports to over fifty countries, has over 7000 employees and a turnover which is in excess of €2bn. A Master’s degree graduate of the Michael Smurfit Business college, Slattery is also a certified Prince2 project practitioner, MsP practitioner and ITIL Expert.


Mike Tesar, Chief Technology Officer,
LetsGetChecked

Mike Tesar is Chief Technology Officer at LetsGetChecked — a leading health insights company that empowers people to take an active role in their health to live longer, happier lives.

His specific expertise lies in system architecture design and development, project management and product roll-out in enterprise software development and deployment.

He has incorporated his vision of a data lake, and the need for data scientists and experts working off this to come up with intelligence from the data that feeds back into the product continuously. This allows the company to give customers dynamic health insights and proactive advice.


Fran Thomspon, Interim Chief Information Officer,
HSE

Fran Thompson is Interim Chief Information Officer of the Health Service Executive (HSE) and CEO of eHealth Ireland enabling the digital transformation of Ireland’s health service.

Thompson has over twenty fives years of health ICT leadership experience and has a comprehensive understanding and practical application of transformation and change management within the health sector. Before his appointment as Interim CIO, he was the Programme Director for the Strategic e-Health Programme for the Office of the CIO.

He has been involved with all aspects of ICT and has played a leading role in delivering various projects and programmes including Hospital Administration and Hospital Clinical systems, Primary Care messaging solutions and Health Finance solutions.

Thompson led the creation and set up of the ICT Project Management Office within the HSE and has responsibility for delivering a number of key strategic e-Health programmes including the electronic health record for the country and the Individual Health Identifier.


Suzanne Tracey, Chief Technology Officer,
SIRO Ireland

Suzanne Tracy is Chief Technology Officer at SIRO and a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team. SIRO is a joint venture between ESB (Ireland’s State Electricity Board). The firm is rolling out Ireland’s first full fibre to the premises network, with over a quarter of all Ireland’s premises passed to date.

Tracey joined SIRO from Vodafone, where she held a number of senior positions including Head of Demand Management, Global Operations, Group Technology (GT) and is also a Director and Board member of VOGSIL, Vodafone Group Technology function and legal entity in Ireland. She has led several delivery & operations teams for GT and Vodafone Ireland.

Tracey is committed to driving Customer Experience and Service Excellence and this is a core focus for her in undertaking her role in SIRO. She holds a BA in Business information Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance.


Niall Twomey, Chief Technology Officer,
Fenergo

Niall Twomey is the Chief Technology Officer at Fenergo and is responsible for technical strategy, design and architecture. He leads core teams within Fenergo to create solutions that deliver impactful ROI for global financial services clients.

Prior to working with Fenergo, Twomey spent over ten years working in financial services product development and system integration roles at Barclays Capital, Fidelity Investments and Accenture. He holds an honours MBA from University College Dublin (UCD), Smurfit School of Business Dublin and an honours degree in Business Information Systems from University College Cork.


Richard Waghorn, Director of Operations, Technology & Transformation,
RTÉ

Richard Waghorn is Director of Operations, Technology & Transformation at Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). He is responsible for all production, broadcast and media operations, directing and controlling the delivery of technology, and leading change initiatives across the organisation.

Waghorn manages Saorview, the free to air television platform, and is a Board Director of 2RN, RTÉ’s transmission company. Prior to joining RTÉ, he was the Chief Technology Officer at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and held a number of positions at the BBC, including Controller of Distribution where he developed the BBC’s national digital switchover programme.


Patrick Warren, Chief Technical Officer,
Mainstream Renewable Power

In June 2021, Patrick Warren was appointed Chief Technical Officer for Mainstream Renewable Power with an immediate focus on digitalisation and identifying and deploying new technology to enable Mainstream to develop, construct and operate renewable projects more efficiently at a lower cost.

With over ten years at Mainstream, he previously led the procurement, engineering, EAG, construction, operations and development activities centrally within the Mainstream group.

Warren has worked in engineering, procurement and project management roles for eighteen years in the energy industry, the majority of which has been spent in renewables. He commenced his career in ESB International before working for six years with Kirby Group Engineering.

Warren holds a first-class honours degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Engineering and Technology in the UK.


Noelle Watts, Chief IT Officer,
Ornua Co-operative Ltd.

Noelle Watts is an experienced Chief IT Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the Ingredients and dairy industry. She currently works as part of the Ornua team and is skilled in Business Transformation, Business Process Design and technology enablement.

She has a Masters in Digital Marketing from The Digital Marketing Institute and a Bachelor of Commerce from UCC. She has experience in IT strategy and change management.


Derek Wilson, Group Chief Information Officer,
Origin Enterprises

Origin Enterprises is a focused Agri-services group providing specialist on-farm agronomy, digital agricultural services and the supply of crop technologies and inputs.

Derek Wilson leads Origin’s technology strategy, governance, shared services, transformation programs and data analytics across the EU, UK and LATAM markets. He has entrepreneurial P&L responsibility for Origin’s SaaS B2B digital agriculture business and Origin’s AI/ML research partnership (CONSUS) with University College Dublin that works to identify and implement innovative AgTech solutions.

Wilson was previously Technology & E-Commerce Director of The Irish Times Group and Managing Director of Siemens Business Services. He also held senior positions with KPMG, Version 1 and JBA.


Rob Wilson, Chief Technology Officer,
Smyths Toys

Rob Wilson is the Chief Technology Officer of Smyths Toys. He is an industry leader with over twenty years’ experience as a business led CIO/CTO working within Retail, Brand Management, Manufacturing & Media industries. He has held the role of CTO at Smyths Toys since 2013. Prior to taking up the position. Wilson worked at Havas Media, Musgrave and Pentland Group.
