Taking to the skies – and the future

The line-up for DTS’s third year continues to impress with EA Sports founder Jeff Burton, Amazon’s CTO Werner Vogels, MP Martha Lane Fox and Tammy Hawkins – VP Software Engineering, Cyber & Intelligence, Mastercard all taking to the stage.

DTS CEO Will Brightling, speaking about DTS 2019, said,

We hope that DTS19 will be a reminder of how vibrant Ireland’s tech scene is at the moment, shining a positive light on things past, present, and yet to come. With Dublin sitting at the heart of Europe’s tech scene, DTS is a platform for our city to impress at a global level, while also taking away valuable learnings and knowledge.

“Exploring a myriad of intertwining themes and topics, our goal is to understand what future impact these may have on business and society. Mankind is still to uncover the true potential of the internet itself, not to mention machine learning and space travel. It is important for us to interpret and analyse what the future might hold for these emerging technologies, so we can accurately prepare for what that future will bring.”

Speaking out

Panelists and speakers, mainly from major tech companies such as Amazon, Google, Facebook, Square and EA Sports, will cover many of the issues affecting their industries, what the future holds, with a particular focus on fintech and blockchain.
