Alan Holland becomes an Endeavor Entrepreneur

Endeavor has selected Alan Holland of Keelvar as its latest Endeavor Entrepreneur in Ireland, joining an exclusive group of high-impact start-up entrepreneurs.

Alan Holland, Founder and CEO of Keelvar, an advanced sourcing optimisation software provider, was selected on August 24th as the newest Endeavor Entrepreneur of Ireland in the 29th virtual International Selection Panel.

Endeavor works with some of the fastest scaling entrepreneurs to ensure they can fulfil their potential. It aims to build a group of supporters for entrepreneurs who are critical to making a lasting impact on different communities. The Endeavor Catalyst is among the world’s top early-stage funders of start-ups outside the US, China, and India, with $500M in assets.

Endeavor Ireland has supported Irish-based start-ups since 2019, investing in them to scale and providing a platform to pay it forward. Mr Holland joins a group conformed of eight other entrepreneurs from seven different companies in Ireland.

Keelvar was founded in 2012 in Ireland. Its advanced technology uses AI to automate buying and procurement processes fully. Its clients can input information about their bid events and adjust their needs to get efficient output based on a series of specified conditions, including the lowest cost, lowest carbon emissions, and the fastest time. Keelvar has raised approximately $43M in funding to date. In May 2022, it earned a $24M Series B led by the global venture capital 83North.

Mr Holland is a PhD in Computer Science. During his selection process at Endeavor Ireland, he met and received feedback from entrepreneurs like Brendan Noud of LearnUpon, Anne Heraty of CPL, and Sebastian Noguera Escallon of Habi.
