Eric Mosley
Eric Mosley is the founder and CEO of Workhuman, the Dublin-born employee recognition and engagement company he launched in 1999 alongside Eddie Reynolds.
Over more than two decades, Mosley has become one of the leading voices in human-centred workplace culture, advocating for the idea that recognition, connection, and purpose are critical drivers of business success.
His work focuses on how organisations can harness the collective intelligence of their people through recognition data, social insights, and emerging technologies.
Mosley has consistently challenged traditional HR frameworks, arguing that the future of work will depend on companies creating more inclusive, connected, and human workplaces.
“If businesses want to succeed in the AI era, they must understand that their greatest advantage isn’t technology – it’s their people. Because without the human, it’s just work,” Mosley said.
Under his leadership, Workhuman has evolved from a workplace recognition company into one of Ireland’s most successful HR technology businesses.
Previously known as Globoforce, the company achieved unicorn status in 2021 after surpassing a $1 billion valuation.
Workhuman
Founded in 1999, Workhuman develops employee recognition and engagement solutions for many of the world’s largest organisations, including LinkedIn, Cisco, Eaton, Whirlpool, and Intuit.
Its human-first approach is designed to help businesses strengthen company culture, improve retention, and drive employee performance through recognition and connection.
The company’s Workhuman Cloud platform is now used in more than 190 countries and supports millions of users globally across 40 languages.
According to the company, the platform has generated more than 100 million moments of human connection, with employees sending recognition messages approximately every two seconds.
Earlier this year, Workhuman reached the milestone of 8 million users worldwide as adoption of its platform accelerated.
The company also revealed that more than $1 billion is now spent annually through its rewards marketplace, positioning Workhuman among the world’s largest e-commerce operators by transaction volume.
The company’s continued expansion reflects increasing demand for HR platforms that help organisations make better people decisions while strengthening workplace culture.
Headquartered in Dublin with major operations in the United States, Workhuman continues to expand its global presence as businesses place increasing emphasis on employee experience, belonging, and workplace culture.
