This week saw new and notable appointments at IQ-EQ, Presidio, Complete Laboratory Solutions and Korn Ferry


 

Sanaa Hira, Sustainability Manager
IQ-EQ

IQ-EQ, an investor services group, have hired Sanaa Hira as their new Sustainability Manager. This newly created role comes as the Group continues to develop its environmental, social and governance (ESG) agenda.  

Prior to joining IQ-EQ, Hira spent seven years at an independent asset management company where she held information analysis and consulting roles. Most recently, she was an ESG investment analyst, responsible for assessing the ESG needs of potential investments, including assessing the environmental, social and governance risks of portfolio companies.

She has a BSc in Mathematics with Statistics and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

Speaking about her new role she said, “I’m passionate about ESG and sustainable investing, which is why I was attracted to this newly created position at IQ-EQ. I look forward to working on the plans that have been developed to strengthen IQ-EQ’s credibility in the ESG sphere”.

“We’re going through an exciting period of activity as we look to evolve our ESG programme and embed sustainability throughout the organisation. To support this, we’re growing our sustainability team, and Sanaa is a perfect fit for this newly created role”, said Mark Harland, Head of Sustainability.

Global digital services and solutions provider, Presidio, has announced the appointment of Bríd Graham as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Presidio Europe and APAC. This latest appointment will see Graham assume overall leadership for the Presidio business that operates out of its Dublin based operation, where it currently employs over 300 people.

In her new role as Senior Vice President at Presidio, Graham will be responsible for building Presidio’s offering to its customers where the business now provides a full spectrum of IT services and solutions, including digital infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity. Under Graham’s leadership, the Irish operation is set to become the strategic hub to support Presidio’s international expansion outside of the US.

Previously Graham served for the past two years as managing director of the Product Procurement division led out of Ireland. A key member of the management team of IT services company Arkphire before being acquired last year by Presidio, Graham played a central role in the success of the Arkphire business, growing the business’ multinational client base both in Ireland and internationally.

The appointment now sees her take over from Paschal Naylor, former CEO and co-founder at Arkphire, who is retiring from his executive role after more than 40 years in the business.

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS)

Complete Laboratory Solutions, Ireland’s largest privately-owned contract laboratory, has announced the appointment of Jerry Dempsey to the position of Chief Commercial Officer.

Dempsey has more than 20 years of senior management commercial expertise spanning across small to multinational sized local and international organisations, specializing in delivering high growth using tailored strategic solutions. In his new position Dempsey will be focused on developing the CLS brand and services, supporting clients, stakeholders and the CLS expert teams as well as identifying new opportunities and advancing technologies to support productivity.

Prior to joining CLS he worked as a management consultant and also held positions in pharmaceutical, healthcare, environmental services and recruitment sectors working as Managing Director for Greenstar and Ashfield Healthcare in addition to holding senior positions with subsidiaries of Irish and Belgian multinationals and private equity owned companies.


Deirdre O’Shaughnessy, Senior Client Partner, Rowan Hillis, Managing Associate 
Korn Ferry

Korn Ferry, a leading global organisational consultancy, has announced the appointment of Deirdre O’Shaughnessy as Senior Client Partner and Rowan Hillis as Managing Associate as part of their growing Executive Search Team in Ireland.

Deirdre will assist clients with their talent needs at C-Suite and Board level across a range of industries.  Utilising her specific expertise in C-Suite and Board searches, Rowan will focus on identifying and attracting high calibre talent globally.
