First Trust Bank, part of the AIB Group, has appointed Adrian Moynihan as head of the organisation.

Moynihan has 17 years’ experience in retail banking, mortgages, business banking and wealth management.

Conor Hogan has been appointed Senior Information Governance Manager at BSI’s Cybersecurity and Information Resilience division in Sandyford, Dublin.

Hogan will focus on leading data protection and privacy projects, business development and thought leadership, while contributing to BSI’s data protection consultancy portfolio.

His experience lies in privacy and IT assurance, risk assessment, data protection, compliance and project management.

Two new partners and a new Head of Litigation were recently appointed in Maples and Calder’s international law office in Dublin.

Robin O’Donnell has been with Maples since 2010 and was made Head of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution on the 1 December, 2017. He specialises in insolvency and corporate recovery/restructuring.

Alan O’Sullivan has been announced as a partner in litigation. He specialises in banking litigation, lender enforcement, insolvency and restructuring, shareholder disputes and commercial property matters.

Callaghan Kennedy has been announced as a partner in finance. His work takes in CLOs, commodities, utilities, marketplace lending and other alternative asset-class financings.

These Irish partners are joined by six additional partners across the firm’s global offices.
