Synch Payments
Synch Payments, the Irish instant mobile account to account payments service, announced the appointment of Tim Fitzpatrick as Chair of the Synch Payments DAC Board.
Fitzpatrick is currently a senior non-executive director, Chair of Audit and Remuneration Committees and one of the founding directors at Oxbury Bank Plc, a new fintech bank serving the British agricultural industry. In addition, he has recently been appointed to the Board and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Elexon Limited, which supports critical national infrastructure and payment settlement in the UK electricity industry.

Jennifer Hyland has been appointed Senior Director. Hyland has been central to developing its digital and creative offer, which has delivered strong growth through domestic and international briefs. Hyland’s multi-award-winning creative work includes clients such as Deep RiverRock, Unilever and Pfizer.
Emma Williams has been appointed Senior Director. Williams has been central to developing Edelman’s Gen Z and creative offer and delivering integrated strategy. This work is helping brand clients such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, and Very achieve their commercial growth ambitions and win industry awards.
David Callaghan has been appointed Senior Director. Callaghan has led the development and significant growth of Edelman Ireland’s B2B offer, a fully integrated creative, advisory and B2B product campaign capability for clients. Callaghan’s award-winning work supports domestic and international clients to realise commercial and reputation growth.

Chadwicks Group
Chadwicks Group, Ireland’s builder merchants, announced five senior appointments across its business. The roles filled include Regional Director positions for the South and Southwest, Midlands and West of Ireland, and Dublin regions; National Transport and Logistics Manager; and Sales Director.
Ger Farrell has been appointed as the Regional Director for the South and Southwest region. Branches under his remit include Ennis, Tralee, Waterford, Galway, Ballysimon, Nenagh, Clonmel, Mallow and Midleton. Farrell joined Chadwicks Group in 2014 as a Sales Executive. During his time at Chadwicks Group, he has worked across multiple functions in the business amassing experience in key leadership as well as customer-focused roles. He brings over 20 years of experience to his new position with specific knowledge in business development, team leadership, change management, operations, and sales management.
Rob Kenny has been appointed as the Regional Director for the Midlands and West of Ireland region. Branches under his remit include Navan, Dundalk, Drogheda, Tullamore, Roscommon Ballinasloe, Monaghan, Letterkenny, Sligo, and Castlebar. Kenny has over 21 years of sales experience with Chadwicks Group with a core background in heating and plumbing. During his time with the organisation, he has held several leadership and senior management roles, most recently as the Walkinstown branch manager.
Martin O’Reilly has been appointed as Regional Director for the Dublin region. Branches under his remit include Donabate, Santry, Coolock, Glasnevin, Thomas Street, Walkinstown, Sandyford, Stillorgan, and Sallynoggin. O’Reilly, an experienced country director, has spent over 17 years in consumer-focused roles, his most recent position was Country Director Ireland with Ideal Standard. He brings a wealth of experience to Chadwicks Group and the Dublin region with specific knowledge in strategy development, business leadership, AOP planning, and team management.
David Parsons has been appointed National Transport & Logistics Manager. He joins Chadwicks Group with 25 years of experience in the transport logistics and road freight industry in the Irish & UK market. Parsons will lead the day-to-day transport function across the branch network and the strategic fleet management programme for the business. He will oversee the transformation to digital operations and the implementation of paperless operations and route optimisation to enhance the service offering and reduce carbon footprint as part of Chadwicks Group’s commitment as part of its sustainability agenda. Parsons will also be responsible for developing and synergising the services of third-party suppliers and own an account fleet of approximately 200 vehicles around the country.
Michael Kelly has been appointed as Sales Director for Chadwicks Group. Having spent nine years with Chadwicks Group, he was previously Regional Heating & Plumbing Manager and Regional Director at the company. As Sales Director, Kelly will manage all external sales functions in the organisation. He will ensure seamless integration across Chadwicks’ teams with the goal of remaining market leaders. Kelly began his career in a warehouse role before progressing swiftly within the heating, plumbing & renewable energy industry, amounting to a total of 22 years in experience.

Manuel Yoacham, Business Director,
MediaCom Ireland
MediaCom Ireland, the media planning and buying agency, announced the appointment of Manuel Yoacham as Business Director. As part of his new role, Yoacham will lead the agency’s strategic and day-to-day operations across a range of clients in the retail sector, including Lidl.
Yoacham brings over ten years of industry experience to MediaCom, having spent five years as Business Director at Starcom Ireland. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Innovation Planner for jump! Innovation, and as an Account Director for Vizeum Ireland. Throughout his various roles, he has experience in managing accounts across numerous industries, including food, beverages, retail and telecommunications.

Gavin McLoughlin, Director,

Drury, the independent strategic communications and public affairs consultancy, announced that business journalist and broadcaster Gavin McLoughlin is joining as Director.
McLoughlin joins Drury from the national independent broadcaster Newstalk, where he has been Deputy Business Editor since 2019. Before Newstalk, he was Business News Editor at the Irish Independent.
