Tina McKenzie MBE is CEO of Staffline, Honorary Consul to Finland, Policy Chair of Federation of Small Businesses and Board Member of the Ireland Funds.
In 2013, Tina McKenzie established the Ireland Division of Staffline, launching a strategic growth initiative with an ambitious target of achieving a £150 million turnover within five years, starting with just two staff members. Under her leadership, this milestone was achieved and surpassed.
The division’s expansion continued in 2014 with the formation of PeoplePlus NI, a substantial government outsourcing venture. In 2015, Staffline acquired Diamond Recruitment Agency, strengthening its market position, followed by the integration of Oak Recruitment Agency in 2017.
In July 2018, McKenzie led the acquisition of Grafton Recruitment, marking the largest recruitment acquisition in Ireland. Today, with PeoplePlus NI, Diamond Recruitment, and Grafton Recruitment united under the Staffline Recruitment Ireland banner, the company offers comprehensive recruitment solutions for leading public and private sector organisations across the region.
Tina’s unprecedented success has led to a stream of awards including the UTV Fast Business Growth Award in 2015, IOD’s Director of the Year Award in 2017, UTV Business Eye’s Business Personality of the Year Award in 2018, the Belfast Telegraph Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020 and the Women in Business Outstanding Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2022. In 2023, Tina was awarded an MBE for services to the local economy and was also named as the 20th most influential person in UK politics in by Politico. In 2024, Tina was appointed to the Department of Business and Trade Small Business Council.

Business & Finance was launched in 1964 as Ireland’s premier business magazine. The Business & Finance Awards programme was established a decade later, in 1974, and has become Ireland’s longest-running and most coveted business awards programme. These prestigious awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of some of our most remarkable business leaders.
The Business & Finance Awards will take place on Thursday 5th December and will honour Sir Nick Clegg, former UK Deputy Prime Minister and current President of Global Affairs, Meta, as well as champion horse trainer Willie Mullins.
