AMI, a secure IT recycling company, announced that it has appointed Faye Thomas as chief commercial officer (CCO). She brings over 20 years’ experience in sales strategy and business development to her new role.
AMI manages the safe disposal of computers, laptops, hard drives, and other IT equipment to minimise the risk of data breaches for public and private sector companies across Ireland and the UK.
In this newly created role, Faye is responsible for developing the strategic direction of all commercial functions of AMI, including sales, marketing, business development and customer experience. Faye will align these functions to meet AMI’s overall strategic commercial objectives – both long and short term. In addition to driving increased market penetration and sales growth, Faye is also responsible for the HR function and managing the development of a strong and successful company culture.

IT solutions and managed services company, Arkphire, has appointed Oliver Surdival as Head of Cloud Services. The move follows Arkphire’s acquisition last year of CloudStrong, a specialist cloud solution provider which was founded by Oliver Surdival and based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
Having consolidated the CloudStrong business into a new Cloud Services division within the Arkphire Group, Oliver’s latest role will see him take overall responsibility for leading Arkphire’s Cloud Services offering, including the development and execution of Arkphire’s cloud and data analytics strategy.
