This week sees new appointments announced at Bauer Radio Northern Ireland, Greenhouse, OpenSky, DublinTown, Irish Life Investment Managers and Matheson.
David Tighe, Managing Director
Bauer Radio Northern Ireland
David Tighe has been appointed Managing Director, Bauer Radio Northern Ireland. Mr Tighe will be responsible for the future development of the award-winning Cool FM, Downtown and Downtown Country portfolio.
Commenting on the appointment, Dee Ford, Group Managing Director, Bauer Radio said,

Mr Tighe’s previous roles include Regional Managing Director, South East UK at Global Media and Entertainment where he managed eight commercial teams. He was also Chief Executive and Programme Director at Limerick Live 95FM, Ireland, where he drove record breaking audience shares and led his news team to win a New York Radio Award for News Coverage.
Prior to this, he was Programme Director for TFM Radio, was a former Chairman of the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland, and was a member of the Broadcasting Complaints Commission (BCC) that oversaw standards for all public and commercial radio and TV in the Republic of Ireland.
Mr Tighe will join Bauer Radio Northern Ireland in the summer.
Colm O’Cuinneain, General Manager of EMEA
Greenhouse
Hiring software company Greenhouse has announced tech veteran Colm O’Cuinneain will lead its European expansion out of its new base in Dublin.
Mr O’Cuinneain joins Greenhouse as General Manager of EMEA, where he will focus on scaling the company in EMEA and Ireland, leading its first international office outside the U.S. He brings over two decades of experience in SaaS and Enterprise Software for the world’s leading technology companies, including LinkedIn, Oracle and HP.

Prior to joining Greenhouse, Colm was a Director of LinkedIn’s largest business line, Talent Solutions, where he led new business acquisition, as well as client growth and retention across DACH, Benelux and Nordic Markets. Before that, he spent over a decade leading growth strategies for Oracle.
Greenhouse is currently hiring across sales functions in Ireland, including Account Executives, Account Managers and Customer Success Managers, as it continues to expand rapidly across the EMEA region.
Darren Clarke, Head of Customer Success
OpenSky
OpenSky, the Irish Gov-Tech transformation specialist which provides automated solutions to public sector bodies, has announced the appointment of Darren Clarke as Head of Customer Success. Darren brings over 20 years of experience in business development and stakeholder management from the financial services industry to the position.
This new role was created by OpenSky to meet the growing demand among public sector organisations and large private enterprises for its specialist digital transformation services. As a member of OpenSky’s senior management team, Darren will be responsible for delivering business growth, enabled by key stakeholder engagement, and will spearhead account management and customer success strategies as OpenSky expands its services into new markets, including financial services.

Darren has also held management and business development positions in the Pension Protection Fund, UK, and Irish Life.
Cól Campbell, Chairperson
DublinTown
DublinTown, the collective voice of businesses in Dublin city centre, has appointed Managing Director of Bewley’s Grafton Street Cól Campbell as its new Chairperson. In his new role, Cól will represent DublinTown’s 2,500 members to promote the city centre as the ultimate destination of choice for shopping and socialising, while also improving the district through additional cleaning, graffiti removal, floral planting and other initiatives.

Donal Keating, Head of Strategic Solutions
Irish Life Investment Managers
Irish Life Investment Managers (Irish Life) has announced the appointment of Donal Keating as its new Head of Strategic Solutions.
Mr Keating brings over 20 years of actuarial and strategic advisory experience to the role. As Head of Strategic Solutions in the Client and Distribution Team, he will work closely with Irish Life clients to optimise their asset management strategies.

Prior to that he worked in Willis Towers Watson as an actuarial consultant where he acted as a Scheme Actuary for many years, delivering the full range of statutory services to Trustee clients.
David Fitzgibbon, Partner – Corporate M&A Team

Irish law firm Matheson has announced that David Fitzgibbon has joined the firm’s Corporate M&A team as partner. David is one of Ireland’s most experienced M&A and Capital Markets lawyers, having advised on many of Ireland’s largest and most notable transactions. He specialises in corporate and securities laws and mergers and acquisitions, advising on public and private transactions as well as equity capital markets transactions and private equity. He has extensive experience advising international clients on doing business in Ireland including advising on acquisitions, compliance and governance rules, corporate migrations, cross-border mergers, joint ventures and reorganisations.
