The Federation of International Banks in Ireland (FIBI) has a new Chair in Derek Kehoe, Chief Executive and Head of Country, BNP Paribas, Ireland.He takes over from Colin Moreland, Managing Director with Citi.

Brian Gallagher has been appointed as the new Head of Aviation Business Development at Cork Airport.

Brian has more than seven years of experience working in aviation development across daa, with his most recent role as Airline Business Development Manager for Dublin Airport. His new role at Cork Airport will involve overseeing the continued development of partnerships with airlines, tourism partners and business stakeholders, to deliver continued route expansion and positive growth into the future.

CDB Aviation announced the promotion of Patrick C. Hannigan, who has served as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer since January 2017, to the position of President.

In addition to providing strategic leadership for the company as President, working with the CEO, the Board and other management to establish long-range goals and strategies, Hannigan will continue to lead the company’s commercial operations as Chief Commercial Officer.

Hannigan has three decades of experience in finance, marketing, sales, and P&L oversight. Prior to CDB Aviation, he was Head of EMEA for Avolon, where he led the EMEA origination team, coordinating placement and remarketing of aircraft within the region. He also was a founding shareholder of Avolon in 2010. Previously, Hannigan served as Senior Vice President, Marketing, for RBS Aviation Capital (now SMBC). He also held the role of Vice President Marketing at GE Capital Aviation Services, where he managed the pricing and marketing support function, as well as led the development of the company’s operations in the Middle East and Africa.

Avantcard, has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer. Niall Corbett takes up the role in January 2019 and is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s finances including financial planning, risk management and financial reporting.

Niall joins Avantcard from Bank of Ireland where he most recently served as Head of Finance at the Consumer Banking division; prior to that he was the Head of Business Banking at Bank of Ireland’s Dublin Central operations.

A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Consultant by profession, Niall began his career with Mazars before taking up several senior appointments at Bank of Ireland. As a respected member of the banking community with a track record of business development and building high performance professional and customer focused sales teams, Niall has also served as a Director of the British and Irish Chamber of Commerce and has lectured on finance at the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
