Tina McKenzie, CEO of Staffline Ireland, is our Business Person of the Month for July 2026, in association with KPMG.
Tina McKenzie has been a strong advocate for business and enterprise, building a distinguished career as a leading executive in the recruitment industry.
A graduate of Ulster University, McKenzie holds a BA in Philosophy and has completed executive leadership programmes at leading business schools.
McKenzie founded Staffline Recruitment Ireland in 2013. She built the business from a start-up into one of Ireland’s leading workforce solutions providers that is structured around understanding the needs of employers and job candidates to deliver successful recruitment outcomes.
Before founding Staffine Ireland, McKenzie had several senior roles with international firms. Earlier in her career, she worked on employment and rehabilitation programmes, experiences that shaped her commitment to improving access to work and promoting inclusive economic participation.
She now brings a wealth of experience, leading a team of over 160 staff and supporting over 6,000 contractors across Ireland.
As CEO, her focus on strategy and change management has driven company growth and strengthened the company’s position as a leader.
Under McKenzie’s leadership, Staffline continued to expand its market presence, reporting revenue growth of 11.5% in 2025 to more than £1.1 billion.
While she continues to shape economic policy as a UK Chair of Policy & Advocacy at the Federation of Small Businesses, she also serves as a member of the UK Trade and Economic Security Forum.
Most recently, McKenzie was appointed as the Co-Chair of the Department of Business and Trade Small Business task force in June. The task force is focused on addressing challenges faced by small businesses and helping shape policies to support their growth.
She has also been honoured by Ulster University with an Honorary Doctor of Science (DSc) for her significant contributions in business, entrepreneurship and the recruitment industry.
Business Person of the Month
The Business Person of the Month Award, in association with KPMG, recognises outstanding leaders in Irish business. It especially acknowledges those who have made significant contributions to the business community of Ireland.
