“It says a lot about the international reputation of Ireland’s marketers and agency professionals that Effie WW have invited so many Irish professionals onto the Global Best of the Best Jury panel and I couldn’t be more delighted”, says Charley Stoney, CEO, IAPI

“The Global Best of the Best Effie Awards are exactly what they say they are.  Only the Grand Prix and Gold winners from each national or regional Effie programme can enter.  So, not only is it an honour for Irish judges to be asked, it will also provide them with invaluable learnings from around the globe as they review world-class marketing effectiveness campaigns.”

Since 1968, Effie Awards have been celebrating brilliant creativity, strategic planning and media innovation and, with over 50 awards programmes around the world, Effies have set the global benchmark for great marketing and advertising effectiveness.  By introducing the Effie Programme to Ireland, it the first time the Irish advertising, media and marketing community can measure their effectiveness against world class standards.

“IAPI’s purpose is to firmly position our industry as a fundamental engine of Ireland’s future growth and to position Ireland as s global centre of excellence for commercial creativity and communications.  I believe that the Effie Programme is already delivering on that goal.” continues Charley.

Effie Ireland’s finalists and winners will receive points towards their rankings in the Global Effie Index, which ranks the most effective marketers, brands, holding companies, agency networks, agency offices and independent agencies globally and will also determine local rankings within Ireland and Europe.

“We take great pride in bringing the first global awards and best-in-class benchmarking for marketing effectiveness to our industry with Effie Awards Ireland.  The not-for-profit status of the parent organisation was an important factor in our decision to partner with Effie Worldwide as IAPI is not seeking to commercialise their awards.  Our aim is to continue to help drive marketing effectiveness through our expertise in commercial creativity and communications.  We believe Effie Awards Ireland is the perfect vehicle for us as it will give us a benchmark against global standards and deliver an ongoing education programme for our members.”  Shenda Loughnane, President, IAPI and Group Managing Director, Dentus Aegis Ireland.

Effie Awards Ireland are supported by RTÉ Media Sales, An Post Commerce, Pluto, Wide Eye Media and Twitter.  The FINAL entry deadline is Friday 18th June.   To download your Entry Kit and submit your entry please login to https://www.effie.org/Ireland.
