Patrick Coveney, Chief Executive Officer

Greencore

Before joining Greencore, Patrick served as Managing Partner of McKinsey, Ireland. In May 2014, Patrick was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Glanbia plc. He served as President of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce from February 2012 to February 2013 having been a council member since 2003. Patrick was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Greencore in March 2008.

Paul Coulson, Chairman & CEO

Ardagh

Paul began his career at PwC (then Price Waterhouse) before establishing his own accounting firm, then setting up Yeoman International in 1980 and developing it into a significant leasing and structured finance business. In 1998 he became Chairman of Ardagh Group and initiated its transformation from a small, single plant operation into a leading global packaging company. Ardagh listed its shares on the New York Stock Exchange in March 2017.

Paul Duffy, Vice President

Pfizer

Dr Paul Duffy was appointed External Supply Leader at Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) in 2011. Prior to this he was Vice-President of Pfizer’s manufacturing in Ireland with responsibilities in Singapore also. He holds a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from NUI Galway, and an MBA from the Open University, UK.

Paul Kelly, CEO

Fáilte Ireland

Appointed CEO of Failte Ireland in December 2016, Paul Kelly is a highly experienced senior executive. He has previously held positions as Marketing Director Diageo Ireland and European Marketing Director for Aviva and is currently Strategic Marketing Director for UCD Smurfit Business School. He is a native of Wexford and a commerce graduate from University College Dublin.

Paul Marchant, CEO

Primark

Paul has been CEO of Primark (Penneys in Ireland) since November 2009. He was also the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of New Look Retail Group and served as Managing Director of the Buying, Merchandise and Design divisions. His other major roles include Division Director for Womenswear and Childrenswear at Debenhams and a number of roles at Topman and River Island.

Paul McDade, Chief Executive Officer

Tullow Oil

Paul McDade was appointed Chief Executive Officer in April 2017, following Tullow’s AGM. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in March 2006. Paul joined Tullow in 2001 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer following the Energy Africa acquisition in 2004, having previously managed Tullow’s UK gas business. An engineer with over 30 years’ experience, Paul has worked in various operational, commercial and management roles with Conoco, Lasmo and ERC. He has broad international experience having worked in the UK North Sea, Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. Paul holds degrees in civil engineering and petroleum engineering.

Paul Rellis, CEO

Viatel

In March 2018 Digiweb Group, the largest indigenous Irish provider of enterprise telecommunications, managed cloud and residential broadband services, announced that Paul Rellis, the former Chief Operations Officer for Microsoft Western Europe and former head of Microsoft Ireland has been appointed CEO. Paul is also a former President of Ibec and of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Peter Keeling, CEO

Diaceutics

Peter founded Diaceutics in 2005. Diaceutics works with the world’s top pharmaceutical companies and utilises its global network of laboratories to help deliver better testing, more efficient diagnosis and more effective treatment for patients. Diaceutics has grown significantly with 60% annual growth year-on-year for the last three years, and currently works with 31 out of the top 35 pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Peter Jackson, CEO

Paddy Power Betfair

Peter Jackson stepped into the role of CEO at Paddy Power Betfair in January 2018. He was only was only appointed head of the British business of the payment processing group Worldpay UK in March 2017. Prior to that, he had spent seven years as chief executive of foreign exchange Travelex.

Phil Kane, Country Manager

Eaton Corp

Phil Kane is Country Manager for Eaton in Ireland. In this role, she is responsible for implementing Eaton’s commercial strategy and managing relationships with Eaton’s key customers and distribution channels in the region. She has years of experience in business to business sales and project management and has comprehensive knowledge of technology solutions having specialised in this area since 2008.

Ronan Stewart, Chief Executive Officer

Santos Dumont

Ronan first joined Santos Dumont in 2005 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2016. Ronan has held a number of technical and commercial roles across a diverse portfolio of asset acquisitions and management, responsible for the technical management of over US$6 billion of assets across a full range of aircraft types and involved in over US$10 billion in commercial aircraft transactions.

Rory Byrne, Chief Executive

Total Produce

Rory Byrne was appointed as Chief Executive of Total Produce on 30 December 2006. Prior to this, Rory was the Managing Director of the Fyffes General Produce division from 2002 and was appointed to the position of Executive Director in 2006. Rory has extensive experience in the fresh produce industry, having joined Fyffes in 1988 and has held a number of senior positions within Fyffes including Finance Director of the Group’s UK business and Managing Director of its Spanish operations.

Rosheen McGuckian, CEO

NTR

Appointed CEO of NTR in April 2013, Rosheen has been with the green energy investment firm since 2008 serving as Group Business Development Director and heading up the solar and waste-management projects. Prior to this, she was CEO of Greenstar and of GE Money Ireland, and previously led ESB Power Generation’s business information initiative.

Seamus Mulligan, Co-Founder and CEO

Adapt Pharma

The serial entrepreneur, most recently co-founder and CEO of Adapt Pharma, cut a USD$735 million deal to sell the company to US-based Emergent Biosolutions. This was his second major pharma deal after selling Azur Pharma, a company he also founded, in an all-share deal that valued Azur at some USD$500 million in 2011, seeing it merge with Jazz Pharmaceuticals in 2012. Prior to that he spent 20 years with Elan Corporation, playing a key role in turning around what was then Ireland’s biggest drug company.

Sharon McCooey, Head of LinkedIn Ireland

Senior Director of International Operations and Head of LinkedIn Ireland, McCooey leads a team of over 1,100 in the company’s new €85 million EMEA headquarters, the group’s only real estate investment outside of the US, underlining the company’s commitment to Ireland. She was appointed to the Board of Directors in August 2011 and was made Senior Director of International Operations in June 2013.

Shaun Murphy, Managing Partner

KPMG

Shaun is the Managing Partner of KPMG in Ireland and is a member of KPMG’s Global and EMA boards. A graduate of University College Dublin, Shaun was elected Managing Partner in 2012. He has held a number of senior management positions with the firm and was previously Head of Tax & Legal Services. Shaun has provided tax advice to a wide range of Irish and multinational clients and has extensive M&A experience. He is also a member of the board of The Ireland Funds.

Siobhan Talbot, Group Managing Director

Glanbia

Prior to Glanbia, Siobhán worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Dublin and Sydney. She has held numerous senior positions at Glanbia since she joined in 1992, including Group Finance Director. She has been Group Managing Director since November 2009. A graduate of University College Dublin (UCD), Siobhán is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Stephen Brewer, Managing Director

Magnet Networks

Stephen Brewer has worked in the telecoms industry as CEO with companies such as Cable and Wireless, Vodafone and Digicel. He was Executive CMO at Oracle (formerly Tekelec before being aquired), is currently Chairman of Velona Systems and is an advisor to the National Broadband plan. He was appointed Managing Director of the Magnet Networks Ireland Division in September of this year.

Stephen McCarthy, Managing Director

BidX1

Stephen McCarthy first introduced large property auctions to Ireland during the recession, and with new venture Bidx1 has moved the auction process online. BidX1 has facilitated the sale of more than €500 million of Irish residential and commercial property in the year since it was founded, and in 2018, private equity house Pollen Street Capital bought a significant stake committing up to £15 million (€16.7 million) of additional financing to help the firm expand into Greek, Spanish and South African markets.

Tadhg Young, CEO

State Street

Currently CEO of State Street’s Global Services business in Ireland, having previously acted as COO since 2012. Prior to joining State Street in 2007, Tadhg was also the head of Trustee, Custody and Middle Office Servicing with IBT Ireland. Previously, Tadhg was the managing director at Allianz Global Investors Ireland. He also worked for Dresdner Bank where he headed the fund administration group and later became head of Operations for banking and fund services. Tadhg qualified as a chartered accountant while working as a tax consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Terry Clune, CEO

Transfermate/Taxback Group

Terry formulated the Taxback.com business concept while working in Germany as a student. Fast forward and The Taxback Group now has a global presence of 32 offices in 24 countries, incorporating TransferMate global payments business, and Immedis, which provides consolidated global payroll and tax service solutions

Tony Neary, VP of EMEA Operations and General Manager

Medtronic

Tony Neary is VP of EMEA Operations and General Manager at Medtronic in Galway, and has been in this role since 2015. Previously, he was Senior Director of Operations from 2013 to 2015, and Program Director from 1994 to 2013.

Tony O’Reilly, CEO

Providence Resources

Tony heads up Providence Resources, an oil exploration firm that traces its roots back to the early 1980s when Atlantic Resources was founded by a group of investors led by his father, Sir Anthony O’Reilly. Tony founded the current company in 1997 and became CEO in 2005 following stints in Dillon Read, Coopers and Lybrand, and Arcon International Resources.

Tony Smurfit Group Chief Executive

Smurfit Kappa Group

Appointed Group Chief Executive of packaging company Smurfit Kappa in 2015, Tony has worked several roles within the group in Europe and the US since joining over 20 years ago. He served as Chief Operating Officer between 2002 and 2015 and Chief Executive of Smurfit Europe between 1999 and 2002.

Wim Verbraeken, CEO of KBC Ireland

KBC Bank

Wim Verbraeken has been with KBC Bank since joining in 1992 as Fund Manager for real estate investments. Prior to being appointed CEO of KBC Bank Ireland he held the roles of CFO and COO. He has also held a number of senior management roles including Head of Project Finance, the Americas, based in New York, and General Manager, KBC Bank Hong Kong Branch, and more recently Senior Managing Director, with management board responsibility for Credit and ALM in Absolut Bank, Moscow.
