Financial services firm Fidelity Investments will create 100 jobs in Ireland over the coming months
Fidelity Investments, the financial services firm, will create 100 jobs in Ireland over the coming months. The new positions will be based in Dublin and Galway, and will be for software engineers.
The US-based firm has said that new workers will be on-boarded and trained in spite of restrictions to prevent Covid-19. The company has stated that these measures are safe and enhanced.

The firm has also recently been praised for creating supports and benefits focused on flexibility and care for employees affected by the impact of Covid-19 on their personal lives.
Fidelity Investments Ireland general manager Al Riviezzo said: “All of our 1,100-strong workforce are working from home across Ireland and ready to welcome new colleagues to support our expanding need for tech skills and talent we have based here in Ireland.”
Fidelity Investments was founded in 1946 by Edward C. Johnson II as Fidelity Management & Research Co. In 1996, the company established a presence in Dublin, marking its first global location and its beginnings in the Irish market. In 2002, Fidelity’s global technology graduate programme was founded in Galway.
The company employs around 40,000 staff around the world, including 1,100 in Ireland, and administers $7.3 trillion in assets around the globe. It operates in asset management, brokerage, and administrative solutions, serving personal, workplace, intermediary and institutional markets.
