Peter Oakes, founder of Fintech Ireland, will moderate the panel discussion on June 8th
Business & Finance will put a spotlight on the fintech innovators in one of most interesting industries at the Fintech Ireland event to be held at the National College of Ireland in Dublin on June 8th in association with Irish Life Health.
Ireland has a vibrant fintech ecosystem and has gained a reputation as a country that is embracing competitive fintech businesses as an ever increasing number of financial services companies look to technology as a means of making their businesses and customer experiences more efficient and profitable.
Ireland’s rapidly growing fintech sector is characterised by a culture of innovation, which has led to the establishment of many globally successful firms.
Over the coming years, more investment in the fintech space will drive the shape of the financial services industry for decades to come.
At the event, a panel discussion moderated by Peter Oakes (founder of Fintech Ireland and non-Executive Director of Transfermate Global Payments) will examine how the industry is emerging in Ireland and what trends are emerging worldwide.
Panel speakers on the night include: Charles Dowd, CEO of Plynk; Nikki Evans, founder and Managing Director of Perfect Card; Geraldine Gibson, CEO of AQ Metrics; Joao Reginatto, Director of Operations Europe for Circle; and Anthony Rafferty, Director of EMEA Merchant Operations at PayPal.
Exhibitors on the night include Taxback.com, PayPal, Comtrade Digital Services and Top Tier Recruitment.
Laura Smyth, Director at Top Tier Recruitment, expressed the company’s excitement as being official recruitment sponsor for the event.
“Top Tier Recruitment is delighted to partner with Business & Finance Media Group to announce the 2017 Fintech Ireland digital index. We work exclusively with a financial and fintech client base across all finance and technology roles and we’re very excited to partner with this event.”
