Johnson Hana (JH), an industry leader in outsourced legal services and smart working lawyer solutions, today announced the appointment of Niamh O’Mara as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Ms. O’Mara will drive the transformation of Johnson Hana’s business operations, improving efficiency and building upon the Company’s strong foundation for growth. Johnson Hana was established to fill the vacuum between high value partner led legal advice and low value process driven legal work to help clients scale back on unnecessary legal spend and is Ireland’s first on-demand lawyer and managed legal services consultancy.

O’Mara is the latest senior hire for Johnson Hana, with the firm having recently welcomed global privacy expert Caroline Goulding as an Advisor in May. Goulding is currently the Director and Head of the Office of the Data Protection at TikTok, a leading social media platform, and spent the previous 9 years at LinkedIn. In her capacity as Advisor she will offer valuable counsel to the Johnson Hana team as they continue their 2020 growth strategy.

A qualified Barrister, O’Mara holds an undergraduate in Law and European Studies and French from the University of Limerick. She is also a qualified Project Manager (PMP) and Change Manager (IMI). O’Mara was most recently Chief of Staff at EY, in this capacity she acted as a liaison between the leadership team and oversaw strategic programmes.

Prior to EY, Ms. O’Mara was a C-Suite advisor in Asia, working with PCH, a product development and supply chain management company for the tech industry in China. During this time, Ms. O’Mara worked with clients to introduce strategies, standards, measurement and reporting on sustainability performance to demonstrate how these companies are creating long-term value across economic, social and environmental performance.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Dan Fox, founder and CEO of Johnson Hana said: “Niamh operates with an exceptional aptitude for global strategy, sales and customer satisfaction. She brings a wealth of experience both local and international, which complements our existing team well and will help us move to the next phase of scale. She is joining an already successful, dynamic team at an exciting juncture in JH’s operational expansion. I look forward to working very closely with Niamh on our global development and the next chapter of JH’s story.”

In anticipation of joining Ms. O’Mara said “I’m thrilled to be joining the amazing team at JH. I’ve been impressed watching the company building something truly disruptive which is redefining the legal services industry. This role will give me the opportunity to leverage my experience in delivering operational excellence, driving transformation and shaping market strategy.”
