Ken O’Byrne, Managing Director
Flogas Energy
Flogas Energy has announced the appointment of its new Managing Director, Ken O’Byrne, who will succeed Sean O’Loughlin.
In his new role, O’Byrne will be responsible for leading the delivery of the company’s commitment to sustainability. He will also focus on innovative energy solutions and supporting customers on their energy transition journey.

Level Health
The Irish health insurer, Level Health, has appointed Ken Byrne as Director of Corporate Business Development.
In his new role, Byrne will be responsible for leading the company’s corporate strategy, working directly with businesses and stakeholders.
Byrne brings over 25 years of experience in commercial leadership across financial services, telecoms, and health insurance. In previous roles, Byrne worked for over a decade at Laya Healthcare, where he managed major client relationships and drove business growth across the commercial market.

JP McGrath, Chief Executive Officer
Aurivo
J
P McGrath has been appointed as the new chief executive of Aurivo by the Board, effective late September. In previous roles, McGrath held positions as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Dairygold, CFO and Chief Operating Officer of BnM, where he played a central role in the transformation of the company from a peat-based business into a renewable energy organisation.
“I am honoured to have been appointed Chief Executive of Aurivo, a co-operative with a proud heritage, a clear commitment to its members and an important role in the communities it serves,” McGrath said. “I look forward to working with the Board, the leadership team, employees, members and customers to build on the strong foundations established under Donal’s leadership and to support the continued development and long-term success of the Co-op.”

Sarah Reynolds, Head of Growth
Simplifi
The managed network services provider, Simplifi, has announced the appointment of Sarah Reynolds as Head of Growth.
In her new position, Reynolds will lead growth across Simplifi’s managed Wi-Fi, IoT retail intelligence, and NetScale channel partner services, deepening relationships with our enterprise and education clients built on the HPE Juniper Networks Mist platform.
Bringing more than 14 years of experience, Reynolds has worked across sales, customer success, account management, and business development in the technology sector.
Commenting on the appointment, Deirdre Cleary, CMO of Simplifi, said. “Sarah’s experience across the full customer journey makes her exactly the right person to lead our growth agenda. We’re delighted to have her on board.”
Pat Farrell, Independent Non-Executive Director
Cairn Homes plc
The leading Irish homebuilding company Cairn Homes has announced the appointment of Pat Farrell as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective on 1 October 2026.
Farrell brings deep expertise spanning the Irish real estate, banking and public policy sectors. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive of Irish Institutional Property (IIP), the representative body for institutional investors in Irish real estate, whose members collectively hold approximately €20 billion invested across key economic sectors in Ireland.
Prior to this, Pat served as Head of Group Communications and Government Relations at Bank of Ireland, where he led the bank’s external engagement and stakeholder strategy. He previously held the role of Chief Executive of Banking & Payments Federation Ireland, where he also sat on the executive committee of the European Banking Federation. Farrell currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Sherry FitzGerald Group and Co-operation Ireland, and as Strategic Advisor to Fexco Group.

The Irish independent broadband provider, Imagine, has appointed Catherine Durkin as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. In her new role, Durkin will lead the company’s sales, marketing, and product functions.
