200 jobs announced for New Relic’s new Dublin-based EU HQ

The tech company opened its first European headquarters in 2014. The opening of the new HQ at Golden Lane will increase the employee count to 300.

The digital intelligence platform is supported by the Irish government through IDA Ireland. The company announced yesterday the opening of its new EU HQ, which will create 200 jobs.

New Relic was founded in 2008 by Lew Cirne, a Canadian-American entrepreneur who pioneered application performance management software. The firm established itself in Ireland in 2014 and provides deep performance analytics to formulate the best-possible solution for business performance.

London, Munich and Zurich are also locations were New Relic has set up offices to further its cloud services sector. A new European developed centre was also established in Barcelona.

CFO of New Relic Mark Sachleben attended the new HQ launch and stated that Dublin “[provides] a vibrant home to [New Relic’s] EMEA team”.

Minister of State Pat Breen also attended and said that “it is very encouraging to witness New Relic’s expansion over recent years as well as their impressive new building”.
