Dublin Tech Summit, the centrepiece of Dublin Tech Week, took place in the RDS, Dublin, over two days with a stellar line up of tech and innovation talent.
Dublin Tech Summit offered two full days of talks and sessions exploring all aspects of tech with a particular focus on AI. Day 1, on 28 May, kicked off with Sarah Friar of OpenAI speaking with Carmel Crimmins on the theme of Scaling AI for Global Impact.
There was also a fireside chat with Alistair Campbell, host of The Rest is Politics podcast and former spokesman for former UK Labour Prime Minister, Tony Blair. he spoke with Aaron Gibson of Hurree on Navigating Leadership, Comms and Geopolitical Tensions in the Age of AI.
The theme of Redefining Work, Creativity and Leadership was explored by Grace Beverly and Anisah Osman Britton and a panel discussion featuring Harmony Murphy, Kieran Flanagan, Adeola Olomo shared insights on Next-Generation Marketing Tech.
Other talks included Bridging the Innovation Gap with Martin Tantow and Agata Leliwa Nowicka and discussion with Barry Downes, Dan O’Brien and Cecilia Ma on the paradox of Funding the Future vs. FOMO.
Onur Korucu moderated a discussion on Data Altruism and David Savage moderated a discussion on the prevention of high stakes AI blunders.
Day 2 kicked off with the launch of the CIO 100 2025 in association with Project Foundry. The Index features top tech talent across the country.
Sessions across the Main and Nexus stage included a discussion on the theme, Beyond Algorithms: The Dawn on Machine Intuition with Dr. Alessandra Sala. Another session looked at the demand for energy that AI requires, featuring Sophia Spitzer, Kirk Offel, John Ridd and moderated by Alan Keogh.
A highlight for the audience was a fireside with Stewart Copeland, drummer with The Police, in discussion with Pat Carty, on the theme of Redefining Art Through Technology.
Workshops and Pitch Competition
The Workshop stage kept audiences enthralled with demonstrations on supercharging your security stack with Chad Conroy, Vonahi, projecting your voice with Clodagh Swords of Simply Voice and much more.
The Pitch Competition showcased up and coming talent and culminated in the top award going to NanoTech, who specialise in the development and production of composite materials for application in high temperature and nano-engineered structures, particularly in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Dublin Tech Summit
Dublin Tech Summit 2025, hosted in the RDS Dublin on 28 and 29 May, boasted 8,000 attendees and a host of international international speakers.
