The Business & Finance ESG Awards has announced a full list of finalists in partnership with Grant Thornton. The fourth annual award ceremony takes place on 10th April in The Round Room at The Mansion House in Dublin.
The Business & Finance ESG Awards, in partnership with Grant Thornton, has today announced a full list of finalists.
The Business & Finance ESG Awards celebrate companies that implement innovative policies, technology solutions, and sustainable business practices. This year saw a record number of entries, with Biodiversity Leadership in Business and Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Initiative emerging as the most competitive categories.
The prestigious ESG Leader Award will be presented to Mary Robinson, recognising her work in sustainability, climate justice, and social equity on both a national and global scale.
Tracey Carney, Managing Director, Business & Finance, said: “The calibre of entries for the 2025 Business & Finance ESG Awards reflects the remarkable strides taken by organisations across Ireland in integrating sustainability at the core of their business strategies. We are seeing a significant shift towards collective responsibility, where entire teams are driving change and delivering measurable ESG impact. The finalists announced today demonstrate how ESG principles are shaping the future of responsible business.”
Amanda Ward, Partner and Co-Head of Consulting at Grant Thornton reflected that “This year’s finalists exemplify the transformative power of embedding ESG into business strategy—not simply as an obligation, but as a pathway to innovation, growth, and resilience. At Grant Thornton, we understand that meaningful ESG initiatives require bold vision combined with practical solutions. We are proud to recognise the finalists who are setting new standards for sustainable business practices, inspiring organisations across Ireland to drive measurable change and secure a prosperous, sustainable future for all.”
The ESG criteria provides essential metrics for companies to measure, benchmark and report their efforts towards sustainable growth, and effective decision making. Using these benchmarks, the ESG Awards offers businesses the opportunity to give a visible and attainable contribution towards a greener future.
Now in its fourth year, the ESG Awards continue to grow and expand. With a variety of categories, the Awards will showcase the successes of ESG initiatives, examples of best practice and highlight the importance of transparency in this area.
The fourth annual ESG Awards takes place on 10th April in The Round Room at The Mansion House in Dublin.
