Dress for Success Dublin has announced the panel for its upcoming webinar to celebrate International Women’s Day. Dress for Success Dublin is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the economic independence of women in IrelandProviding job search supports and career development services to women seeking to (re)enter the workforce.

The webinar will take place on Monday 8th March at 3pm GMT and will comprise of a moderated panel discussion featuring speakers Tracey Carney, Managing Director, Business & Finance Media Group, Jenny Egan, Team Ireland and Sprint International Canoeist, Aoife Davey, Senior Marketing Director, One4all and Allison Keating, Chartered Psychologist, Owner of bWell Clinic, Author and Columnist.

The panel discussion will be hosted by Sonya Lennon, Founder of Dress for Success Dublin and designer, businesswoman and multi-award winning social entrepreneur. Sonya has campaigned for equality in the workplace for women by addressing the Gender Pay & Opportunity Gap. She instigated the first ever #WorkEqual conference in 2019, to define and agree key policy measures that could accelerate the pace of workplace equality for women in Ireland.

Theme

The theme for this webinar is ‘Choose to Challenge’. The panelists will explore areas including challenging norms from a personal and professional perspective as well as actionable tips.

Special Contributors

David McRedmond, CEO of An Post, will give practical advice on making changes within a company. There will be special contributions from Margot Slattery, Global Diversity and Inclusion Lead at Sodexo and Deirdre Mortell, CEO of Rethink Ireland. There will also be testimonies of impact from Mairín NiBheachain, Stylist and Enterpreneur at MoStyle & Mise Collars, and Dress for Success Dublin Mentor Vanessa.

Speakers

Tracey Carney is Managing Director of Business & Finance Media Group. A self-starter, always thinking and looking for ways to do things better, Tracey is passionate about driving change to help shape a better future, not just women but for all in her workplace and the world we live in.


Jenny Egan is a Team Ireland and Sprint International Canoeist. First athlete to win an International Canoe
Federation World Championship medal for Ireland. Representing Ireland in a minority sport, Jenny knows what it takes to overcome barriers to success. She is passionate about empowering women to believe in themselves.


Aoife Davey is Senior Marketing Director, One4all. Aoife believes that through continued open conversations, women within the workplace will feel empowered to strive for, and to feel supported, to reach their full potential.


Allison Keating is Chartered Psychologist, Owner of bWell Clinic, Author of ‘The Secret Lives of Adults’, Irish Independent weekly columnist and regular media contributor. Allison inspires a reality check and honest appraisal of the challenges women face, heightened now with Covid-19.
