Deloitte expansion leads to 30 new jobs for Galway

The new office will be based in the Galway Financial Services Centre will be its fifth location in Ireland.

Deloitte provides audit, tax, consulting, and corporate finance services to public and private clients spanning multiple industries and employs almost 2,000 people in Ireland.

The new Galway office will offer a full suite of services, with a particular focus on audit, accounting and risk advisory, tax, corporate finance and restructuring, and company secretarial services.

The company is recruiting for positions at all levels and roles are open to experienced professionals with audit and tax qualifications as well as those looking to pursue a career at a professional services firm.

Brendan Jennings, managing partner, Deloitte commented: “We are excited to announce the establishment of Deloitte’s office in Galway. The city is a global centre of activity for medical technologies and ICT companies, in addition to having a strong indigenous business sector. We believe that we have the skillset and breadth of capability, and the drive and ambition, to provide a valuable service to this community.”

Gerard Casey and Dan O’Donovan will be leading the expansion into Galway supported by a senior management team.
