The Dublin Tech Summit 2026 will bring global leaders in AI, media, infrastructure and digital policy to Dublin’s RDS on May 27–28, with fireside chats, panels and awards focusing on the impact of technology on society, business and culture.

Almar Latour will join a fireside conversation with Jennifer Cunningham to examine the role of journalism in an era of AI-generated content. The discussion will focus on information integrity, editorial trust and the evolving economics of news production.
Sarah Wynn-Williams
Sarah Wynn-Williams, former global head of public policy at Meta, will contribute to discussions on technology governance, platform accountability and regulatory frameworks shaping the digital economy. Her session will explore how algorithms and platforms influence society, challenge democracy, test privacy and what it takes to reclaim control in a world ruled by digital power.

“Doomscrolled: Music in the Age of Endless Trash”
Sigurdur Arnason and Paul Hourican will examine how digital platforms and algorithmic recommendation systems are reshaping the music industry. The discussion will focus on AI “slop,” algorithmic exposure, and whether artists can still break through in the age of infinite scroll.
Ciaran Flanagan & Jason Lynch
“Can Data Centres Survive the AI Boom?”
Ciaran Flanagan and Jason Lynch will discuss the infrastructure demands of artificial intelligence, including energy consumption, scalability and sustainability. The session will be moderated by Carmel Crimmins.
Ayuna Nechaeva & Ülane Vilumets
“Europe’s Digital Sovereignty: Who’s Funding the Next Unicorns?”
Ayuna Nechaeva and Ülane Vilumets will explore investment flows within Europe’s tech ecosystem. The session will focus on global competition, the scalability of European tech champions and the continent’s reliance on foreign investors.
Issam Hijazi
“UpScrolled: Can Social Media Exist Without Manipulation?”
Issam Hijazi will present an alternative framework for social media design. The talk will address platform manipulation, hidden ranking systems, and engineered addiction.
Leaders Dinner
Alongside the main programme, the summit will host its Leaders Dinner on May 26, where industry awards will also be presented.
Eric Mosley will receive the Visionary Leader Award in recognition of his work promoting human-centric approaches to workplace technology and founding Workhuman.
Alvina Antar will be awarded the Grace Hopper Award, recognising her contribution to advancing women in STEM and her broader impact on the technology sector.
