‘Ops! AI did it again’

Fawad Qureshi will be part of the panel’s Ops! AI did it again, discussing how AI is driving businesses, and hence changing how we work. Together, the panel will explore how businesses can demonstrate genuine AI innovation without falling into the hype trap.

With AI now playing a role in generating revenue and making decisions in sectors like finance, healthcare, and business, it’s more important than ever for companies to spot when things could go wrong, and stop potential mistakes before they lead to lost money, damaged reputations, or regulatory issues.

The following subjects will be discussed:

  • How to detect and prevent AI hallucinations before they lead to financial loss, reputational damage, or regulatory penalties

  • Actionable strategies to test, validate, and govern AI outputs effectively

  • What evolving AI regulations and compliance trends mean for businesses scaling AI solutions

  • How industry leaders are building safer, smarter, and more resilient AI ecosystems ready for the real world

Fawad Qureshi said “As a Global Field CTO working with leaders across industries, I’ve seen how AI can unlock incredible value and drive innovation. But when AI hallucinates, it’s not just about getting things wrong; it breaks trust, wastes energy, and leads to bad decisions. AI is only as good as the data it learns from. With AI, it’s garbage in, garbage out; and worse, biases in, biases out. If we don’t build responsibility, fairness, and sustainability into every part of AI right from the start, this shiny new technology could rust faster than we realize, and no one wants that.”

Dublin Tech Summit 2025 will take place on 28-29 May. Tickets are 25% off for Business & Finance readers.
