Fujitsu has been ranked on Fortune magazine’s renowned ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ list for the second year in a row.

Innovation, social responsibility and long-term investments were among the attributes that ensured the global ICT company held its place.

Speaking about the ranking, Irish head of Innovation, David Delaney said: “This is a wonderful achievement for Fujitsu, especially in terms of innovation. It’s a huge part of what we do at Fujitsu Ireland. We’re spearheading research initiatives in the areas of Big Data and the Internet of Things and we’re confident these initiatives have contributed to the overall ranking.”

Conducted through a partnership between Fortune magazine and Hay Group, the ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ list is determined based on a survey of 15,000 executives at global companies, directors, and industry analysts. Companies that receive the highest scores from both within and outside their respective industries are ranked in nine categories, including quality of management, quality of products/services, and innovation.

Fujitsu’s continued presence on it signifies the company’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to top organisations worldwide while placing a high priority on the environment, society, governance and contributing to an overall sustainable society.
