Ireland Day New York returned to NYSE for the fifth consecutive year this Friday, March 13th, adding a vital business focus to annual St Patrick’s Day observances.
The summit hosted more than 300 executives from leading international firms, including Fortune 500 companies, venture capital firms, entrepreneurial start-ups, market makers, policy makers and financial and sciences organisations from the US, Ireland and around the world.

Kevin O’Malley, US Ambassador to Ireland; Raymond Sisson, president and CEO, AWAS; Ciaran Murray, CEO, ICON PLC; Julie Sinnamon, CEO Enterprise Ireland; Anne Heraty, founder and CEO, CPL; Mark Roden, CEO and founder, ding*; Anthony Maddaluna, EVP, Pfizer; Caitriona Hallahan, CEO, Microsoft Ireland; Mark Little, founder, Storyful; and Emer Gilvarry, chair of Mason Hayes & Curren, to ring the NYSE Opening Bell ring.
The theme of Ireland Day 2015 is ‘Ireland INC 2020: The next steps’. Discussing this theme today were a number of influential business leaders who debated key global business issues and who communicated the message to the international market that Ireland is open for business.
