KPMG Ireland has acquired leading Irish construction project and cost consultancy firm KMCS for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 1954, KMCS provides services in the areas of cost and project management in Ireland and overseas.
KPMG Ireland has acquired leading Irish construction project and cost consultancy firm KMCS for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 1954, KMCS provides services in the areas of cost and project management in Ireland and overseas.
KMCS’ staff of 35 will be fully integrated within KPMG and CEO Nigel Spence will lead the new business unit. Nigel and his team have extensive experience in construction project management, cost consultancy, mechanical & electrical cost management and consultancy services.
Over the past several decades, KMCS have consulted on a wide range of projects in Ireland and abroad. Previous clients include Facebook, Stripe, Primark, Westridge Real Estate, Riot Games and FiServ.
They also have a strong background in supporting Irish and international clients in various sectors as they seek expertise in significant construction and related projects. It is intended that KMCS will relocate to KPMG’s offices at Stokes Place, Dublin 2 in mid-2022.
