Launched in 2018 with Enterprise Ireland, the Elevation Award recognises fast-growing Irish companies with substantial potential for global expansion. Integrity360, information security and cyber protection expert, is a finalist in this category. Its CEO, Ian Brown, sits down with Business & Finance to discuss the company’s nomination.

What motivated you to start the company?

Integrity360 was founded to address a critical need for robust information security and cyber protection. After years in IT, I saw that organisations were struggling to keep up with increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, often lacking the resources, expertise, or dedicated infrastructure to defend their data and operations effectively. Integrity360 emerged to fill this gap by providing organisations of all sizes with dependable cyber security solutions that could protect them in a digital landscape fraught with risks. Our mission is to be a trusted partner, delivering tailored, integrated security approaches that shield organisations’ most valuable digital assets.

What does it feel like to put your vision into practice?

Building Integrity360 into a trusted industry leader has been immensely rewarding. Our journey from a small start-up to a global player reflects our commitment to providing top-tier cyber protection. Earning clients’ trust as they rely on us to protect their critical information and operations reinforces our dedication to continuous innovation in an ever-evolving field. Every success in protecting a client reaffirms that we’re making a genuine impact in information security.

How does it feel to be an Elevation Award finalist?

Being a finalist is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. This recognition is a source of pride and reinforces the trust our clients place in us. It validates our commitment to client security and drives us to keep pushing industry standards higher, protecting against new and emerging threats.

What, in your opinion, specifically led to this nomination?

Our client-focused approach, commitment to innovation, and strategic expansion are core factors. By positioning ourselves as a true security partner rather than a vendor, we have built lasting relationships with clients. Our proactive approach to evolving cyber threats, along with our ability to scale without compromising quality, has been instrumental in our recognition.

How would you advise start-ups facing obstacles?

Resilience is essential. Starting and scaling a company in cyber security is challenging, and learning from setbacks is crucial. Prioritising client needs, building a cohesive team, and remaining adaptable to changes are critical to overcoming challenges and achieving success.

How has Enterprise Ireland’s support impacted your global vision?

Enterprise Ireland’s support has been invaluable in helping us achieve our European vision. Their resources and guidance have enabled us to scale sustainably, enter new markets, and uphold high standards in every region we serve. Their partnership has been integral to our journey and growth.
