Mick Ramsey, Business Support Director,
Vyta

Vyta, an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) company, has announced the appointment of Mick Ramsey to the role of Business Support Director. In this role, he will be responsible for developing robust processes, both operationally and commercially, which will support and drive Vyta’s growth journey.

By providing secure IT refurbishment and recycling services to increasingly security and sustainability-conscious businesses, Vyta is rapidly growing. Earlier this year, it announced plans to almost double its headcount with the creation of 100 jobs by year-end 2025. This follows the acquisition of Essex-based ITAD company FGD in 2022, which also saw Vyta’s headcount and revenues grow.

Mick will play a key role in ensuring that Vyta is internally positioned for growth and able to meet client compliance, security, and sustainability requirements across the globe. Managing the Business Support Team, Mick will develop operational and commercial processes that allow Vyta to scale its ITAD service to meet evolving client requirements. He will oversee Vyta’s internal compliance programme, develop the company’s global service offering through the management of international service providers, and support the company’s ambitious ESG programme development.

Prior to joining Vyta, Mick managed the global subcontractor network at Sim Lifecycle Services, with responsibility for onboarding, audit, and compliance. This gave him a solid foundation for working with global clients to build strategic partnerships. Mick was also previously an Operations Manager in Remploy e-cycle and Remploy Electronics, which provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Mick holds a Prince2 project management qualification, as well as an Institute of Occupational Safety and Health certification.

Mick Ramsey, Business Support Director, Vyta Group, said: “I feel honoured to have joined Vyta at what is such an exciting time for the company. Equipped with my 22 years of experience in the ITAD industry, I look forward to adding value to Vyta’s offering as it continues on its expansion journey. Having managed global networks in my previous roles, I feel well-placed to bring this knowledge to Vyta as it continues to grow and become a truly global company.”
