This week sees new and notable appointments at Mason Hayes & Curran, A&L Goodbody, Damovo, KINTO Join, William Fry, EisnerAmper Ireland, and Storm Technology.

Aislinn O’Shea, Partner, Healthcare Team
Mason Hayes & Curran

Mason Hayes & Curran has announced the promotion of Aislinn O’Shea to Partner in the firm’s Healthcare team.

The appointment further strengthens the firm’s dedicated healthcare legal practice, which advises clients across healthcare delivery and clinical trials, as well as medical devices, pharma and healthtech.

O’Shea advises hospitals, healthcare organisations, insurers and medical professionals across a wide range of cases. She specialises in medical negligence claims, particularly those involving complex catastrophic injuries, and also advises clients on regulatory matters, litigation risk, healthcare governance, consent, ethics, patient complaints and data protection.

Commenting on the appointment, Will Carmody, Managing Partner at Mason Hayes & Curran, said, “Healthcare providers are facing a more active dispute and regulatory environment. Aislinn’s promotion recognises the calibre of her work and the confidence clients place in her on difficult, high-value matters.”

Kevin Power, Head of the Medical Law team, added, “Aislinn combines specialist expertise in healthcare claims with a detailed understanding of the operational realities facing healthcare providers and practitioners.”

Elena Canavan-Young, Partner, Asset Management & Investment Funds
A&L Goodbody LLP

A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has appointed Elena Canavan-Young as a Partner in its Asset Management & Investment Funds practice.

Canavan-Young joins ALG’s funds team with more than a decade of experience advising leading global asset managers and investment funds on the establishment, structuring and ongoing regulation of Irish-domiciled funds. She has developed significant expertise in exchange-traded funds (ETFs), advising some of the largest ETF providers in Europe.

Welcoming the appointment, David Widger, Managing Partner at ALG, said, “We have one of the largest and longest established dedicated funds teams in Ireland, reflecting the importance and scale of the Irish funds sector.”

Stephen Carson added, “Elena joins us at a time of significant growth in our practice, particularly in ETF and private funds. Her experience will add to the knowledge and expertise we have in our practice.”


Katelyn Miller, Marketing Manager
Damovo

Damovo has appointed Katelyn Miller as Marketing Manager as the international ICT and communications solutions provider continues to build its presence in the Irish market and across its international business.

Miller joins the company from Wrike, where she spent almost five years as Regional Marketing Manager, leading integrated demand generation campaigns across EMEA and North America. Her career has focused on connecting marketing activity directly to pipeline and commercial outcomes.

Speaking about the appointment, Miller said, “What attracted me to Damovo was the opportunity to join a business operating in such an important and fast-moving space.”

John McCabe, Executive Vice-President and Managing Director for Global Services and Ireland, added, “She brings a strong track record in enterprise B2B marketing and demand generation. Her experience will be invaluable as we focus on growing our presence and profile in the Irish market.”


Addi Colgan, Sustainable Solution Manager
KINTO Join Ltd.

KINTO Join Ltd. has appointed Addi Colgan as Sustainable Solutions Manager.

In her new role, Colgan will oversee and lead the company’s sales strategy in Ireland, while working to promote sustainable commuting options to private and public sector organisations through KINTO Join Ltd.’s digital mobility platforms, including ZERO by KINTO.

Colgan brings more than a decade of experience to the role, having previously worked as Key Account Manager for Northgate Vehicle Hire, Business Development Manager at Sixt Leasing, and National Sales Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Commenting on the appointment, Colgan said, “This is an exciting time for KINTO Join Ltd. with our focus on expanding in Ireland and solidifying our position as a leading player in the sustainable mobility space within the European market.”

Dr Eva Barrett, Consultant Energy & Infrastructure Group
William Fry

William Fry has appointed Dr Eva Barrett as Consultant in its Energy & Infrastructure Group.

Barrett joins the firm from Solar Ireland, where she served as Director of Policy and Regulation, leading regulatory engagement on RESS 6, grid and planning reform, and implementation of the Net Zero Industry Act.

She brings more than 16 years of experience across private practice, industry advocacy and regulatory leadership, including roles with the European Commission, Trinity College Dublin and Vermont Law School.

Commenting on the appointment, Fergus Devine, Partner and Head of the Energy Group at William Fry, said, “Eva is one of the very few people in Ireland who has worked on EU energy regulation inside the EU Commission, inside a trade association, and in private practice.”

Barrett added, “I’m joining at a point where the regulatory architecture for Irish renewables is evolving rapidly. I’m looking forward to working with clients on navigating, shaping and progressing projects through these frameworks.”


Julian Yarr, Non-Executive Chair
EisnerAmper Ireland

EisnerAmper Ireland has appointed Julian Yarr as Non-Executive Chair of its Board.

Yarr brings extensive corporate leadership and governance experience to the role following a legal career spanning more than 25 years with A&L Goodbody, where he served as Managing Partner for 12 years.

He has also held a number of international advisory and board roles, including independent Chair of the Board of Sorainen and independent board advisor to Advant.

Conall O’Kane, M365 Productivity & Engagement Practice Director
Storm Technology

Storm Technology has announced the appointment of Conall O’Kane as M365 Productivity & Engagement Practice Director.

In his new role, O’Kane will lead the operational and commercial direction of the company’s M365 practice, supporting the delivery of governance and compliance foundations for businesses using the Microsoft365 suite.

O’Kane has spent ten years with Storm Technology, previously holding positions including Modern Workplace Practice Manager, Modern Workplace Team Lead and M365 Senior Consultant.
