The 5th Diversity in Tech Awards will take place on September 21st, 2022 at the RDS Concert Hall, Dublin – its first in-person ceremony in 3 years. In association with Verizon, FTI , Fiserv, and Amazon Web Services, the event acknowledges the best in the tech industry, celebrating organisational achievements in promoting diversity.
Originally known as the Women in Tech awards, the event recognises diversity in all forms, with 7 categories for diversity, 8 for women and 2 special recognitions. Some categories are Diverse Company of the Year, LGBTQ+, Disability and Cultural Inclusion, Rising Star, and Mentorship awards.
Organised by Dublin Tech Summit, the awards aim to highlight the achievements of companies and individuals that promote different backgrounds and genders across Ireland’s booming technology industry.
Since their inception, the awards have been hugely significant in showcasing female role models within the industry, and encouraging young women to choose careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
