Eugene F. Collins has appointed Mark Walsh as Managing Partner of the firm for an initial three-year period. Mark who has been with the firm since 2001 took up the new post in January.

Mark was previously Head of Property & Construction Group and has been a Partner with the firm since 2005, specialising in commercial property. Mark has worked on transactions such as the purchase of Westport House and acts for a number of key retail clients such as JD Sports, Zara, Marks & Spencer and the Tifco Hotel Group.

Dublin-based creative experiences agency Because Ireland has announced the appointment of Gavin Coffey as Global Digital Director.

Gavin joins Because with a strong digital background amassed at agencies including Drury | Porter Novelli, Teneo PSG and Thinkhouse. He has created and implemented digital, social media and PR strategies for some of Ireland’s biggest brands, including Vodafone Ireland, Heineken and Three Mobile.

Amryt Pharma announced the appointment of Derval O’Carroll as Head of Regulatory Affairs.

Derval has over 25 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Amryt, Derval was Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs for the NASDAQ-listed rare diseases company Retrophin Inc., where she provided regulatory, strategic and operational input to product teams managing Retrophin’s development-stage and commercial products. Before that, Derval worked for 11 years as a Managing Consultant at Real Regulatory Ltd, a consultancy specialising in European regulatory affairs, quality management systems and supply chain operations compliance.

MC2 Accountants

MC2 Accountants, a Cork-based accountancy firm, has announced the appointment of Pamela Murphy as Partner at the firm.

Pamela is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Irish Tax Institute. She is also a Fellow with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Smith & Williamson have announced that Stephen Scott will be joining the firm as a Director in the Restructuring and Recovery Services (RRS) Department.

Invigors EMEA LLP has appointed Kieran O’Brien as Network Member for Ireland.

Kieran was Operations Director at Cisco Capital EMEAR and joined the firm as an associate in December 2017, based out of Dublin, Ireland. After a highly successful year working with captive and vendor clients across Europe, he is moving the business into its next phase of development with the establishment of Invigors Ireland, for which he is the EMEA Network Member.
