Primark today opened its debut store in Paris. Located in the O’Parinor shopping centre in Aulnay-sous-Bois on the outskirts of Paris, the store is Primark’s third in France.

It entered the French market in December 2013 with its first store in Marseilles and opened a second in Dijon last month.

With a surface area of 4,366 square meters, the new store houses the latest trends ranging from attractive fashion for women, men and children, to jewellery, shoes, accessories and a large selection of homeware.

The opening of Primark in Aulnay-sous-Bois has had a substantial local impact with the creation of more than 500 new jobs.

A Primark spokesperson said: “We are delighted to open our first store in Paris at O’Parinor, one of the most important shopping centres in the area. As one of the most stylish cities in the world, the new store has been eagerly anticipated by fashion lovers in Paris and the surrounding areas. Since our arrival in December 2013 we have had a fantastic response from the French people. We look forward to opening more stores in Paris this year.”

Primark is due to open a store in Villeneuve-La-Garenne, Paris on 9th April and another in Créteil, Paris in June.
