Search Optics has established an EMEA headquarters in Fumbally Square, Dublin 8 and plans to create more than 100 jobs in Dublin over the next two years.

Search Optics is a digital marketing company that specialises in custom, integrated solutions with an emphasis on return on investment. Founded in 1998 in San Diego, the company now has 12 offices in 9 countries.

Benefitting from Dublin’s reliable and comprehensive technology infrastructure, the company expects to significantly gain market share in other countries, as well as provide enhanced support for their customers’ global operations.

David Ponn, CEO, Search Optics, said: “EMEA is a region that is ripe for growth. It will benefit extensively from the digital marketing technology and hands-on expertise we bring to the marketplace. We are dedicated to providing real results for our clients, backed by local employees in Ireland, and, with our new EMEA home in Dublin supporting us geographically, economically and culturally, we are excited to join the Irish business community.”

Chief strategy officer Brendan O’Brien commented: “Dublin is a diverse, vibrant city that offers us access to highly-skilled staff and a comprehensive technology infrastructure that will serve as the perfect base as we expand into EMEA. We have experienced excellent support from government business development departments as well as from local businesses and suppliers, which means that setting up our HQ has been straightforward and without delay. We already have over 15 employees in EMEA and are looking to quickly expand the business in Ireland, contributing to employment levels and the continuing success of the country. I believe that we now have an even brighter future ahead of us.”

Welcoming today’s announcement, Martin Shanahan, CEO, IDA Ireland said “The decision by Search Optics to locate their EMEA headquarters in Dublin again confirms Ireland’s reputation as the premier location for fast-growing, innovative companies to build and support their future international growth. I wish Search Optics every success and offer the continued support of IDA Ireland.”
