Icon, the The Dublin-founded clinical trials company which employs more than 1,000 people in the Republic won the prestigious Company of the Year award at the 2021 Business & Finance Awards ceremony. The company is a global provider of drug development solutions and services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. It was established in 1990 by Dr John Climax and Dr Ronan Lambe.
Ian Hyland, Publisher, Business & Finance, congratulated the winners, saying:

This year’s awards were judged by a panel of 25 leaders representing business, academia, business bodies and business state agencies, all of whom acknowledged the challenges business and individuals have faced over the last two years.
