What inspired you to start your company?

I’ve spent over 30 years building and scaling platforms in the regtech space, and when I looked at the ESG landscape, I saw businesses struggling to keep up with rapidly changing regulations and increasing demands for sustainability data. I realised there was a real opportunity to simplify this complexity. I wanted to create a platform that would make ESG data management easier, smarter, and more actionable, giving companies the tools they need to turn sustainability from a burden into a real business advantage.

What is your core product/service offering and what gap in the market are you trying to address?

Our core offering is the Pulse Market platform – a highly secure, cloud-based ESG management system. We simplify how businesses collect, organise, analyse, and report their sustainability data. The market gap we’re addressing is the overwhelming data complexity and is an inefficiency many companies face. Instead of using spreadsheets and disconnected systems, Pulse Market offers a single source of truth for ESG data, making sustainability reporting simpler, faster, and more effective.

Is there a particular sustainability-related issue that your business is trying to solve?

Absolutely. At Pulse Market, we’re focused on helping businesses navigate the challenges of ESG compliance and sustainability data management. Many organisations want to make a positive impact but are overwhelmed by the regulatory burden and complexity. We make it easier for them to track their environmental and social performance, meet evolving regulations, and create real, measurable change.

What motivated you to apply to the Accelerate Green programme?

I applied to the Accelerate Green programme because I saw it as a perfect fit for our stage of growth. I wanted to expand my network, refine our go-to-market strategy, and get expert guidance on scaling the business sustainably. The programme’s focus on sustainability aligned perfectly with our mission, and I knew the mentorship and insights would help position Pulse Market for long-term success.

How important is professional networking for you as you grow your business?

Networking is crucial for us. Building strong connections with sustainability experts, industry leaders, and like-minded entrepreneurs opens doors, sparks new ideas, and gives us credibility. The right network helps us navigate challenges, stay ahead of trends, and build partnerships that can scale our impact.

What’s your long-term vision for the company?

My vision is twofold: first, to help businesses become more sustainable by providing them with smarter, simpler tools to manage their ESG data; and second, to lead by example by embedding ESG principles into everything we do at Pulse Market. We’re working toward B Corp certification, and we aim to build a purpose-driven brand that inspires real change—making sustainability easier, more actionable, and more impactful for businesses everywhere.
