Our validation-based solution helps companies understand what data they have and how it flows through the organisation. By applying indexing, lineage and traceability, we deliver validation reports, risk heat maps and remediation recommendations that accelerate the GDPR compliance journey.
With a combination of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and a unique knowledge base that is specific to each customer, we can ensure automated, continuous compliance across all data.
Who’s behind it?
Allan F. Beechinor CEO & Co-Founder: Allan is an AI Thought Leader and part of the AI Alliance Industry Group. Key contributor to ‘Ireland the AI Island’ the first National AI Master Program at University of Limerick. He is a Mentor at UCD for Computer Science with a specialisation in Data Science and a Key member of the IDA AI, Cyber Security and Blockchain Foundation Group
He has 20+ years technical experience.
Allan is responsible for creating the product roadmap and research agenda, architecting the solutions and managing our talented engineers and developers.
Jeffrey Leo: Jeff’s role is to assist the management team with strategic advice and counsel in all areas, with particular emphasis on investment and financing.
How is it funded?
Steelworks Technology investments are our funding partner.
This year we participated in the CorkBIC International Security Accelerator from Jan – April 2018 which was a turning point for us. We were awarded the most Investible Business and the Accelerator helped us focus our product offering, refine our investor proposition and transform the business in 13 weeks – which ultimately helped us to raise over €1.5million in investment.
Future plans?
We are on a steady growth path – having started with just 6 employees 18 months ago – we now have a team of 34 people. Over the next 12 – 24 month we plan to recruit further & grow our customer numbers by 50%
We currently operate in US, EU markets but are also looking at Asia in 2019. Altada has been identified as a though leader in Data Compliance technology solutions.
