Business & Finance highlights some of the top movers and shakers in Ireland.

What is it?

Fusion HR’s vision is to improve the wellbeing of the employee, not only for the benefit of their employer, but also the individual, their family, and ultimately society at large.

Fusion HR works in partnership with organisations to realise the full potential from the talent within their business.  Utilising data analytics they can ensure optimum value from absence management, wellbeing and mental health programmes as well as activity-based initiatives and challenges.

By proactively working with organisations to reduce the health risks prevalent in their workforce, Fusion HR can drive clients’ costs down and boost profitability from within their existing workforce.

Who’s behind it?

It was founded by Conor Hoey and Aaron Keegan, whom have been working together for almost 20 years providing healthcare solutions to Irish business.

They established Fusion HR, which is headquartered at NexusUCD, with the aim of researching internationally how best Irish companies can add value to their HR budgets.

How is it funded?

Fusion HR is privately funded. It was successful this year in selling its stake in a healthcare administration system to enable additional development of its wellness technology.

Future plans?

Fusion HR will now be looking to develop its customer base with those organisations that want to develop a positive attendance management culture and to help integrate this with their corporate social responsibilities.

Its recently launched stair gamification platform, StepJockey, for use in multi-storey buildings, is an easy way for staff of all levels of activity to engage.
