Keywords Studios announces acquisition of Maverick Media, further strengthening its marketing services offerings

Keywords Studios, the international technical and creative services provider to the global video games industry, has announced the acquisition of Maverick Media Limited, a premier video games creative marketing agency.Maverick, based in London and founded by Will Jeffry in 1995, is one of the longest established and most successful video games creative agencies in Europe.It has produced award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s most prestigious games publishers, developers and brands, including a strong and long-standing relationship with Pokémon, both in Europe and North America.

Maverick has an enviable track record in TV commercial and live action projects in addition to its video game trailers, key art and social media work. These strengths in video games will broaden and deepen Keywords’ extensive range of marketing services, benefiting its client base and the wider industry community.

Dublin-based Keywords Studios was Established in 1998, and now with 60+ facilities in 21 countries strategically located in Asia, the Americas and Europe, it provides integrated art creation, marketing services, software engineering, testing, localization, audio and customer care services across more than 50 languages and 16 games platforms to a blue-chip client base of more than 950 clients across the globe.

Keywords Studios has a strong market position, providing services to 23 of the top 25 most prominent games companies, including Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Electronic Arts, Konami, Microsoft, Riot Games, Square Enix, Supercell, TakeTwo, Epic Games and Ubisoft. Recent titles worked on include Mortal Combat X, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Borderlands 3, League of Legends, Fortnite, Clash Royale and Rainbow Six Siege.
