United States Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, to address the Ireland INC US-Ireland Economic Roundtable

US Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, will address the Ireland INC US-Ireland Economic Roundtable on Tuesday, 3rd November at 3pm GMT.

The Roundtable will be centred on the theme, ‘Progress Through Partnership: Deepening the Economic Relationship between Ireland and the US.’

This roundtable discussion is in association with Arnall Golden Gregory LLP. The panel will discuss a number of issues including the increased opportunity to deepen the wider economic ties between Ireland and the US, the challenges and opportunities for Irish companies seeking to expand in the US, the relationship between the US & EU and the impact and resulting considerations of Brexit.

Moderator Sarah Freeman (Managing Editor of Business & Finance Media Group) will be joined by the following guest panellists:

  • Paschal Donohoe, Irish Minister for Finance and President of the Eurogroup
  • Danny McCoy, CEO, Ibec
  • Richard Neal, Chairman, House Ways and Means Committee, US Congress

Ireland is now the 8th largest FDI to the United States, resulting in significant employment across all fifty states balancing that of the employment of US multinationals across Ireland.
