Bill Clinton accepted the Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award in 2010
At this year’s Business & Finance Awards on December 14th, the achievements of 100 leading technology companies and entrepreneurs will be celebrated at The Convention Centre Dublin in front of Ireland’s top CEOs and business leaders. Here, we announce the first 25 companies.
The Business & Finance Awards, in association with KPMG, has been recognising excellence in Irish business for over 40 years and is the longest running and most coveted business awards programme in Ireland.
Established in 1974, this prestigious awards programme have celebrated the outstanding business leaders including Tony Ryan, Denis O’Brien, Dermot Desmond, Tony O’Reilly, Michael Smurfit, Peter Sutherland, Domhnal Slattery, to name a few, and honoured and hosted global political and social leaders including President Clinton, Sir John Major, Senator George Mitchell, Kofi Annan and Mary Robinson.
Last year’s Business & Finance Awards honoured President of Ireland Michael D Higgins with the Inaugural TK Whitaker Award for Outstanding Contribution to Public Life, while Sir Bob Geldof received the Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award.
In addition Susan Whelan, CEO of Leicester City Football Club received Global Irish Outstanding Achievement in Business Award.
The 2017 Business & Finance Awards in association with KPMG will take place on Thursday, December 14th at the Convention Centre Dublin.
