One of Ireland’s most well-known business women, Louise Phelan has been with the global payments processor company for 13 years
Louise Phelan joined PayPal in 2006 and became the company’s vice president of Global Operations Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2016 where she was responsible for growing revenues and recruiting significant numbers of customers. She said in a statement about her moving on from PayPal,
After 13 energising years at PayPal, I have decided to move on to new challenges and opportunities where I can share my experiences and add value at a whole new level.
Under Ms Phelan’s guidance PayPal employee numbers in Ireland increased from 200 to more than 3,000. She is also a non-executive director of Ryanair and a member of the advisory committee of Voxpro.
