The Business & Finance CFO 100 2023, in association with Sia Partners, is set to go live on May 18th at 11am. The publication of the index will be marked by a thought leadership webinar featuring some of Ireland’s leading financial figures.
The CFO 100 2023 will launch on Thursday, 18th of May with a thought leadership webinar in partnership with Sia Partners.
To mark the list’s release, a panel comprising some of Ireland’s most renowned CFOs will discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the last couple of years as well as how companies can safeguard themselves against future crises.
The CFO 100 launch event will include an interactive discussion on CFOs leading the strategic cost challenge, where panellists will discuss:
- Challenges and opportunities
- Futureproofing
- Strategies and solution
Sarah Freeman, Managing Editor of Business & Finance, will moderate the event. This year’s panellists include David Manifold, CFO, eShopWorld; Gina Laverty, CFO, Viatel Technology Group; Lawrence Vesey, Partner, UK & Ireland, Sia Partners, and Seana Leech, Chief Financial Officer, Cpl.

Lawrence Vesey, Partner, UK & Ireland at Sia Partners
Lawrence Vesey joined Sia Partners in 2020 and is responsible for the company’s Business Transformation Practice. He has significant experience delivering major technology and transformation programmes across a range of industries.
David Manifold, Chief Financial Officer at eShopWorld
David Manifold joined eShopWorld as its Chief Financial Officer in 2019. He has considerable senior management experience in technology-led, high growth environments. He has over thirty years’ experience in the financial and technology sectors.
Gina Laverty, Chief Financial Officer at Viatel Technology Group
Gina Laverty was part of the team that managed the sale of online payments company Realex to Global Payments. She rose to become Senior Vice President for International Finance with Global Payments before making the move to Viatel Technology Group in 2021.
Seana Leech, Chief Financial Officer at Cpl
Seana Leech joined Cpl in 2018, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2022. Prior to joining Cpl, she worked for a number of large multinational organisations with the responsibility for management of complex finance functions in highly regulated environments. She is a qualified accountant and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Attendees will also view a keynote by David Cass, Partner at Sia Partners.
