The international sales, marketing and support services group, DCC Health & Beauty Solutions, has acquired Elite One Source Nutritional Services, Inc (“Elite”).
Elite One provides contract manufacturing and related services to the healthcare and dietary supplements market in the US, which is rapidly growing. The company focuses on complex-formulation products in tablet and capsule dosage forms, which includes both organic and probiotic products.
Elite One’s services lie in product development, formulation, manufacturing, packaging and regulatory services. Its facilities lie in Missoula, Montana and is well invested in for future expansion.
The acquisition was paid in cash on completion based on a value of $50 million (£35 million). Elite One expects to gain a return on capital employed of approximately 15% within the two years of ownership.
