Ekco announced the acquisition of Datalogix on 23 February. It specialises in managed security service provision (MSSP).

The company expects its security division revenues to reach €100 million following the acquisition. The group generates €200 million in total revenues.

The acquisition will significantly boost Ekco’s operational technology (OT) capabilities in Ireland, the UK, and the US. This will strengthen the company’s ability to secure converging IT and OT environments for customers. It responds to rising OT threats and increasing regulatory demands.

Commenting on the acquisition, Steve MacNicholas, CEO of Ekco Ireland, said, “With Ekco’s world-class expertise in security-first managed services and cutting-edge technology, this partnership is a perfect match – and we are looking forward to growing and learning together.”

The deal follows Ekco’s 2025 acquisitions of cybersecurity consultancy Predatech and managed service providers Solsoft and Adapt IT.

It marks a further step in the company’s strategy to build a security-first, unified MSP platform across Europe.

Der Cremen, Managing Director of Datalogix, added: “Joining Ekco enables us to increasingly invest in and develop our OT capabilities to bring enhanced resources and resilience to our customers, backed by Ekco’s scale—while maintaining the responsiveness they value.”
