This episode features John Goulding, CEO & Founder, Workvivo in conversation with Alan Bromell, Partner & Head of Private Enterprise, KPMG in Ireland.


Workvivo was founded in 2017 by CEO John Goulding and CTO Joe Lennon to improve the working experiences of employees across the business spectrum. With extensive experience in HR technologies, the pair built an employee communication platform geared to elevate the employee experience.

The company raised $38 million in venture capital in 2020 from Tiger Global, Frontline Ventures and Enterprise Ireland. The team has now grown 100+ with members in Ireland, the UK and USA.

Alan Bromell leads KPMG in Ireland’s involvement in the Private Enterprise market. His clients include privately owned groups and their owners, and private equity funds. Those clients are across a variety of sectors including real estate and construction, retail and life sciences.

Alan has advised extensively on tax matters impacting these businesses including investment and acquisition structuring, expansion, exiting a business and succession planning.
