Marketing agency Acorn is to create more than 100 jobs in Dublin over the next five years.

Acorn currently employs 100 people and is looking to employ the additional 100 employees in management, HR, IT and finance roles. Acorn is also creating jobs in creative and digital design, planning, research and campaign production skills.

Phil Cottier, CEO of Acorn said the new jobs would come online to assist its EMEA-based clients and service its offices in Paris, London and Sydney.

Minister Richard Bruton said that developing the impact of multinational companies based here was a key driver of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs.

Barry O’Leary, CEO IDA Ireland said companies like Acorn are generating creative marketing solutions and then exporting these ideas across the world.

“Epsilon’s decision to centralise key functions into its Dublin office is a move that is being repeated by many IDA clients,” O’Leary said. “Acorn’s expansion will enhance Ireland’s reputation as a location for creative and dynamic international businesses to expand into international markets.”
