Baker Tilly Mooney Moore
Belfast accountancy and advisory firm Baker Tilly Mooney Moore has announced the appointment of Claire Galloway and Halyna Bondarenko to the Business Services team.
Claire joins the growing team as Payroll Manager, while Halyna takes on the position of Bookkeeper.
Claire will head up the dedicated payroll team which provides a full payroll service to clients. She joins from another local, mid-tier accountancy practice.
Halyna was previously an accountant at a distribution business in Ukraine, where she recently moved to Northern Ireland from. In her new role at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, she will provide a full and dedicated bookkeeping service to clients.
The appointments follow two recent additions to the Tax Department within the Belfast practice, which specialises in Audit & Assurance, Taxation, Restructuring & Insolvency and Consulting.
The Business Services team services clients across the retail, hospitality, construction, and engineering sectors, amongst others, and continues to expand following the appointment of Michael Branniff as Partner, who joined Stephen McConnell at the helm of the team in January.

Simon Ward, VP of Sales,
RentalMatics
RentalMatics, a mobility solution for the car rental, car sharing and peer-to-peer industries, has announced the appointment of Simon Ward as its new VP of Sales. Simon joins the business with 18 years’ experience in the area of car rental.
Simon worked for HESC (Hertz European Service Centre) for seven years, helping to lead and develop its sales department while also facilitating the transition to online sales in the early 2000s.
The bulk of Simon’s car rental experience has come from his 11 years spent with Cartrawler where he was Head of Car Rental Supply Department. Simon was key in aiding over 500 car rental suppliers gain access to new customers directly from major airlines, OTAs (online travel agencies) and a variety of comparison sites globally.
The RentalMatics platform is a multi-patent granted solution for the mobility industry and currently supports rental fleets across UK, Europe, North America, South America and Australia. RentalMatics has developed a SaaS telematics-based operating system which enables companies that manage large fleets to automate, visualise and manage their operations in real time. The RentalMatics technology allows businesses to see where their vehicles are, access their every movement, tackle theft and fraudulent activity, increase damage recovery, maximise vehicle usage, and transform insurance costs.

Sinéad Clandillon was recently announced as the Director of Content for Ebow, The Digital Agency who are entering a new growth phase.

As Director of Content, Sinéad will spearhead the delivery of world class content services to Ebow clients through the establishment and management of their newly formed Content Department.
David Douglas was delighted to confirm that Sinéad’s move to Ebow signals the beginning of a new and exciting phase of expansion within the agency, with the development of the Content Department, according to a press release.

Gary Frehill, Head of Cloud Solutions,
HCS
HCS, a business IT, security and telecoms company, has announced the appointment of Gary Frehill as Head of Cloud Solutions. Gary has spent over 20 years working in IT, business acquisition and cyber security for public and private sector organisations, including An Garda Síochána, Business IT Solutions and Radius Technologies.
In this new role, Gary will be responsible for the research and development of new technology and services, and adapting solutions to the changing landscape of communications and IT.
He will lead the rollout and continued development of HCS’ Information Technology Cloud Solutions programme in partnership with Microsoft. His primary focus will be Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions, where he will drive the highest standards of security, scalability, compliance and accessibility.
Before joining HCS, Gary worked as a Private Cloud Business Development Manager in Radius Technologies for over two years, where he optimised customers’ cloud strategies and developed bespoke solutions to meet business needs.
Prior to this, Gary spent 15 years with An Garda Síochána where he had a particular focus on IT fraud and investigation. He also spent three years working as a business development executive for Business IT Solutions where he generated new leads and created long-term business value for clients.
