Áine McSweeney, Of Counsel
HOMS Assist

HOMS Assist has announced the appointment of its new Of Counsel, Áine McSweeney.

McSweeney has been a dedicated member of the HOMS Assist team since 2004, providing expert legal services in personal injury law, medical negligence, product liability, and catastrophic injuries. Her career is marked by successful representation of clients from the Circuit Court to the High Court, as well as extensive experience with the Personal Injuries Resolution Board (PIRB).

Reflecting on her promotion, McSweeney said, “At the core of my practice is a profound understanding that each case represents a personal story of challenge and resilience. By providing practical, impartial advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, I strive to achieve successful outcomes that improve their quality of life.”

Robert Bourke, Partner in charge at HOMS Assist, added: “Congratulations to Áine on her promotion. Áine brings not only professional skill, but also an approach grounded in compassion and integrity. Her rise within HOMS Assist highlights the firm’s commitment to fostering growth, encouraging expertise, and delivering exceptional client care.”

James Rael, Operations Lead
Davy

Davy has announced the appointment of James Rael as its new Operations Lead in Limerick.

With more than nine years of experience at Davy’s Dublin headquarters, Rael has advised business clients across a broad range of financial matters. In his new role, he will work to expand Davy’s wealth management and financial planning services throughout the Limerick area. He will also collaborate directly with clients to deliver personalised investment strategies and advice.

Prior to his career in finance, Rael was a professional rugby player for Munster and Connacht. He retired from the sport in 2014 due to injury.

Commenting on the new role, Rael said, “We’re delighted to strengthen our commitment to the area by expanding our operations here and offering more support to local clients.”

Lexy Staffurth, Head of Supply Chain
Codex

Codex has appointed Lexy Staffurth as its new Head of Supply Chain.

Since joining the company earlier this year, she has taken charge of Codex’s end-to-end supply chain strategy—overseeing procurement, managing logistics, and improving supply optimisation. This appointment represents a key step in Codex’s broader growth plan, which focuses on strengthening partnerships with both customers and suppliers.

Now leading these efforts, Staffurth is working to enhance procurement processes and build greater resilience across the supply chain. The company’s expanding office furniture division, which is experiencing increased demand for customisable, high-quality solutions, is also one of her primary focus areas. Additionally, she is playing an integral role in launching Codex’s neuro-inclusive product range, developed in collaboration with AsIAm and set to launch this September.

This initiative is part of Codex’s wider commitment to creating inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive.

Welcoming the appointment, CEO Patrick Murphy said: “Lexy brings a wealth of experience and a strategic mindset to Codex at a time when we’re investing in growth and innovation. Her leadership will be instrumental as we continue to evolve our offering and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

Stephen Phillips, Head of Public Sector
Integrity360

Integrity360 has named Stephen Phillips as its new Head of Public Sector for Ireland.

In this role, he will lead the company’s strategy and expansion within the public sector. His focus will be on enhancing cybersecurity services to meet the unique needs of government bodies and public institutions.

To ensure compliance and resilience, Phillips will align Integrity360’s solutions with national frameworks and baseline standards. He will also collaborate closely with regulatory bodies, government agencies, internal experts, and technology partners to develop tailored, forward-thinking solutions.

“Public sector security has always been a part of Integrity360’s mission,” said Phillips. “With dedicated leadership, sector-specific solutions, and a consultative, legislation-aligned approach, we continue to deliver a trusted, referenceable, and future-focused proposition for government agencies, local authorities, and education bodies.”
